In case you haven't noticed by now Schwab is defintely involved with this site and it's possibly even a trap set by them. They definitely have administrative access based on the number of posts and comments that get removed. Not so much the layoff info - I think they actually want people to see that stuff so they are prompted to leave on their own and Chuck doesn't have to cut them a severance check. Things that makes the company look bad though soon disappear. Notice how anything about the Peak-SoMo situation quickly gets deleted.

@my Not fake. I knew Scott. I wasn't there when it happened but I know someone who was.
It says a lot that people feel the need to post through proxies just to tell the truth about their experience. That alone should be a wake-up call.
This place talks a lot about culture, but what we actually live through day to day does not match the message. There is a huge difference between a healthy culture and one that just looks good from the outside. When the focus is on spin, silence, and keeping everything on-brand, the real problems never get addressed.
If people are going quiet or walking away, it is not because they are negative or difficult. It is because they are exhausted from pretending the mask is real.
Been posting from my company laptop for months now issues.. (I work in cybersecurity)
Perfect summary of a fake story, I think it’s hilarious people think it’s true. Sonoran style indeed.
Good luck, I'm behind 7 proxies.
@h8 Fer years people from SoMo been attacking people from the Peak because they blame them fer the death of this guy Scott from SoMo. Happened yers before I started working here, circa 2017-2018. The story I heard around here at the Peak was Scott was working from here fer some reason or another and after work he and some of the guys here climbed up Piestewa Peak bringing a couple bottles of Cuervo with them. Scott wasn't really a drinker but I guess he was showing off and had too much and in his drunken state took a tumble over the edge and died. The SoMo people, including Scott's brother, say he pushed and as vengeance have waged war against everyone at the Peak.
@OP What is the peak/somo situation?
Thousandth time this lame joke has been attempted. Still not funny.
As a person who has suffered a concussion and a broken nose after being as--ulted sonoran-style, I find the lenghths the company goes to to hide what's going on in Phoenix really upsetting. It's bad enough they don't address it at work but now they are making sure any web chatter about it is shutdown. If you don't people to talk about it online then do something to put a stop to it
For decades, layoffs and key info have leaked here way before official announcements, not to mention that execs get slammed in almost every thread. If HR had any control over it, this place would’ve been shut down ages ago.
If you’ve noticed posts disappearing, it’s usually because someone was trolling or a newbie forgot to check the rules and tried to identify others.
This site runs with fewer rules/lighter moderation than most (unlike Reddit, where half the thread’s just [deleted]), but it is strict on personal attacks and naming anyone below exec level.
WE KNOW THAT THIS IS YOU LARRY!!!
@a9 Obviously not but it does seem like there is definitely something fishy going on. Maybe HR people have become mods.
You're good as long as you don't post using your Schwab computer like an id--t.
Oh for sure, Schwab set up this whole website with hundreds of discussion boards about other companies just to collect the IPs of a handful of naysayers.
A Schwab troll. Pathetic.
Good thing you're not a conspiracy nut, or anything...
