HR using AI to rank and promote us.

Heard there are very limited promotions this year and that HR is making the decisions based on data. No input from supervisors.

I recommend not worrying about promotions this year, the corporate goal is to lower cost of wages. If you lower your expectations, you will not disappointed.

I was told only people over the 100% of CO were being considered for promotions. So if, by AI, you mean they're using a filter to determine which employees those are and then using other filters to figure out which areas can afford promotions, then I suppose you're right. Not exactly real AI but I guess that's the buzzword these days.
