Thread regarding Optum layoffs

Anyone know what's going on with AbleTo?

Is Optum going to ki-l our business? Should we all be looking for new jobs?

@cz2 There was another round plus a lot of attrition after the big 2024 layoff. Haven't heard anything about changes to the product lineup for 2026 but I think they're going to make an announcement soon. Sudden reduction in urgency on project deadlines and many related meetings getting cancelled this week. I don't know what's happening exactly but I'm spooked. Looking to see if anyone here has any more info on what's happening.

There was another layoff after the one that occurred in May or June 2024?
What happened to all the products (Therapy +/360, Digital Therapy, Self-care)?

I was laid off end of October. Loved the job, it changed when Optum purchased it.

Whoever heartless soul posted “hopefully get rid of that segment” I hope you’re not in line for a layoff because you’ve apparently earned it based on your candor about other business entities - you clearly aren’t one of the cool kids

@OP I have thought this is the plan for over a year now. So many signs and red flags. I think it’s a slow ki-l, people are leaving and not being replaced.. my team is a quarter of what it used to be. No investment into getting clients, tech issues abound and no one really cares. The products don’t work properly for us and the participants. The AbleTo I remember is a distant memory. I’m biding my time but I know it’s coming.
