Oracle showed us how little it thinks about us. That no amount of knowledge, experience, or initiative will protect any of us from layoffs. So why in the world should any of us bother to do anything else but the bare minimum? I'm done. I'm quiet quitting until I find something new.

@bd I think the idea behind quiet quitting is to do the least amount of work possible while you look fpr a new job.
Why do you need to quite quit? Just quit.
@OP I quite quit after we went back to the office after covid - the retired back in April. I do wonder if i might have been riffed now had i stayed. I don’t regret it for 1 minute, though :=)
agree, this company can fire you anytime - that was not like this before. Now the culture is to cash and run away.
After this? I've quiet quit months and months ago.
