New or old, I can't think of one good leader here.

Yes. Leaders from Wells Fargo and JP Morgan being hired here and making this place a terrible environment.
Bingo - Wells Fargo 2.0 has created a wave of dysfunctional hierarchy.
Ever since they created additional hierarchical levels, all they do is ask their lower level reports for updates so they can report to higher-ups and take credit.
@zx Agreed, it’s very unfortunate. I wonder how many current teammates from heritage organizations truly feel they’re better off now than they were before the merger.
Most good leaders were riffed since 2021 or were smart enough to leave. Suntrust management didn’t want to be questioned about anything and that’s one thing good leaders do in pursuit of improving processes. The biggest problem with this bank is middle management. Yes Bill and his gang of id--ts aren’t going anywhere but solid middle management would be huge help. Most now are straight yes men and many have no idea how to manage. Look around at the number of former Truist people in leadership roles at other banks. Tells you all you need to know.
@OP I used to be a good leader but got demoted for speaking up for my people. shrugs
You are a unicorn among donkeys.
Leader here, not horrible, calls out irrational and illogical things every day. Promotes data based decisions and work life balance for my team. Gives clear priorities and expectations. Treats everyone fairly. The rest of the machine rolls on.
Your generalizations are ignorant and feckless. You have one view and one set of leaders don’t apply it to the whole organization.
Just wait, it will get worse
