When the acquisition of Albertsons fell through, I celebrated, because I thought we were saved from layoffs. We all knew it would be bad if the merger went through, but since it didn't, we were good. It's not so good to wake up one day and realize how stupid you've been.

@z9 Maybe they should get rid of Yael and Jim. They would save more money and trim the useless fat.
Yael told us we would be 50% understaffed if the merger was approved.
The other thing is absolutely NO ONE planned for the merger to fail... I was the only skeptic amongst my peers. It was so obvious we finally had an FTC chair that cared about consumers. There was no chance they would approve this monopoly
Layoffs were inevitable either way.
My entire team in KTD got laid off except for 3. I’m sure they made deals and sold out the team. F’ing traitors.
