I’m an attorney representing a former Belk employee, and who has been monitoring this page and other Belk platforms for the last few months, the amount of complaints from customers, employees, and vendors is staggering. Belk cannot require you to use your own cell phone for Belk related business without compensation. Belk must give you a monthly allowance for cell phone use or provide a company owned cell phone for business use. Do not continue to use your own cell phone for work related tasks without compensation. Belk is fully aware that they are in flagrant violation of the law, yet they don’t seem to care one bit.

You can sign in to salesfloor in the POS system but you can't send a text or email.
You can log into the POS system in Beauty to access the program so you don’t have to use your personal phone. They monitor every aspect of that program and it is designed to keep employees from keeping clients when they leave.
Let's face it Belk does so many illegal and immoral things . And they get away with it. The store where I work is a mess. Horrible place to work and the store manager plays mind games with you. I am actively looking around for another job.
My cell phone is the only way I can see my schedule and paycheck.
The waiver says it's voluntary but the store manager told us it is mandatory. And I don't think the sales floor app is available on the zebra.
In Workday there is a Bring your own device waiver/document that states using personal devices is voluntary and associates are not required to use personal devices. Every system associates use at work is be available on a handheld/scanner.
We have to use our phone for tasks, Microsoft Anthicator gives a number code to unlock
