When’s the new plane getting here? Any idea on how many seats it’ll hold?

You can find all of the corporate aircraft in the FAA Registry, but only 4 of the current aircraft are listed as Chevron. The first Embraer Praetor 600, a 2019 model, has been registered to Cheveron since the company took delivery of the aircraft. Apparently the good ol’ MCBU boys were so excited they forgot how to spell the name of the company.
The new shuttle aircraft is rumored to be in the Embraer E170/175 series family. Typical layout configuration could be 50-75 seats. It makes sense to buy the same OEM (Embraer) because Corporate Aviation Services already flies 2 Embraer Praetor 600 aircraft. They also operate 3 Gulfstream G650ER aircraft. Gulfstream does not build shuttle specific aircraft. Contact anyone in Corporate Aviation Services for a tour of the company facilities in Sugar Land.
I heard it will hold 12 but the extra seat is on a second toilet
@ce was curious if someone knew something useful for a change, instead of the general office malaise. Appears not.
It's a layoff site. There's a whole aviation team you can go ask personally, unless you need to know so you can wire the money for it?
Love the ELT bashing as much as the next guy, but does anyone have any real intel?
@av Still not enough space for their over-inflated egos and feckless personalities.
It also has plenty of room for their golf clubs and a curated menu of food and wine.
Have you ever traveled with execs? I have (in a prior life), and I learned it’s a miserable way to travel! Work on a litany of excuses that keep your schedule from meshing with theirs! Nothing good can of it! Don’t fall for the “extra seat” ruse!
@a5 Ha! All the more reason to see if the execs and their spouses travel onboard the remotely Engine operated company jet. Let's see if they REALLY put their money where their mouth is!
Enough seats for exec team and their spouses for weekend getaways.
@OP I heard it’s being flown by Engine remotely to save money
