Any hiring freeze on AI product development and incubation teams? Seems like this "refocus" is prioritizing those types of roles.
They could let every manager, director and VP go and nothing would drop off. Oracle the only place with managers of zero people.
They will announce how many of US citizen, H1Bs and IDC were laid off in order to confirm there is no discrimination ever.
This time I believe they will retain US citizens compared to all these H1B's. If not you can file a strong case.
