I just want to thank all of you that recommended that we speak to an attorney. After they played hard ball and tried to tell me they would not offer anything and even trying my attorney, the pendulum swung and let's just say that I owe all of you a huge thank you. I am in a much much much better place now and HAPPY to move on. My family and I thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Same here. They resisted for a while but they flinched this morning and tripled the offer. My attorney is holding back for more. Winning!
Ok, Followed your advise and there was push back twice on offering more and when, they knew it was going to court, they flinched.. Took the dough though I should have gone for much more. I think I left bank on the table. UGH!!!!!
@nf It wasn't from just customers. I got shipped an overnight USB drive that came with no information at all. Like I was just going to throw it into my computer when I had no issues at all from the breach. It was indicative that four days after the event we still had no idea which employees had been impacted and who had not.
Is that a % improvement over your severance or a multiplier? In other words, did you get an additional 99% of your severance or 100x? Wish you best.
Glad to see we are all not cowering like sheep this time. I am planning to call the media next week and see who would be interested. That and writing the folks that vote best places to work an business magazines and sites and let them know about everything I know and learned on this site, including the hiding of the cyber attack from our customers and other problems. You bite your employees and we bite back.
I have an appt next week. Maybe if this costs them more money, some of our friends that remain may be safe because they won't want to get sued. I worry about all of the ones that were released and all that stay. We are all family and I want the best for all of us.
I can't say or they may know it is I. There is only one other CDW person he is representing and I signed to remain silent about who I was and the settlement and how I went about it. If you look up the best firm (not one attorney) you will find the right team or a comparable team. But make sure to fight.
