So 2 directors in my area. Mine and another are out. Typically they notify us but this time just our with brief out of office notice. Just curious

I think too much reading into this. Sometimes people are just out - and in a culture where they could care less how someone is impacted, it’s probably just that they didn’t do a good job notifying.
They’re enjoying their unlimited PTO, that’s why.
Directors are leaving left and right all over the org. They’re probably out looking for new jobs or enjoying PTO before they skip out.
Sounds like they got canned
They are probably prepping and going to job interviews to get out of this place. If I weren't retiring soon, I would be doing the same.
Wow you get notification when the directors are going to be OOO? My director is just constantly “away” on Teams and is probably out on his boat.
