Thread regarding Chevron Corp. layoffs

Checklist for next week

Ahead of next week please share your thoughts on getting your house in order.

  1. Audit your health, benefit, etc accounts to ensure you have non-Chevron email and phone numbers.
  2. If you have been using a Chevron-owned phone in non-Chevron accounts, you need to update it.
  3. Audit your email, OneNote, OneDrive, etc for notes, documents, etc that are personal in nature. Read the company info on how to transfer these to an external OneDrive. (Sign-up for a new OneDrive if you haven’t already)
  4. Send out R&A’s to people who have made a difference.
  5. Book appointments with your Doctor, Dentist, vision care, etc. No procrastination!
  6. Take advantage of any corp discounts

  1. Take both hands, Grab your A$$ and carry that lard out the door and don't let it slam shut on your delicate candy butt on the way out. Buh-bye!

Grab payslips and tax documents from Workday, and send them to your personal device using the approved Chevron process.

If you have a Chevron paid phone, you can have them unlock the account so you can transfer it to your own account.

Then when customers and vendors call you, you can just cr-p up.

Complete the form to request transfer of any personal documents that you may have on your computer to your email. If you don’t complete the form, it may look like corporate espionage. I think cyber security has that form and you can ask them. That makes it all legal to get any docs you need

@b3+1, if you're laid off, anyone sending email to your Chevron email will get the Chevron IT automatic reply, something to the effect, "this email address is no longer valid".

No matter how safe you feel, please do these things, this weekend. Nobody expects it to happen to them, and if it does happen, you're immediately cut off from any Chevron digital services.
