I got a new job! I am going to share my experience because I know there is fear of the current job market:
It only took 3 weeks. I am receiving a LOT more in pay. There are a LOT of jobs out there- I noticed it pick up this month.

Congratulations! I got a new job myself and it turned out to be one of the best decisions and choices I’ve made in years! While I miss what the company once was, I recognize the RKD days are long gone and have been replaced with money hungry leaders that have promoted under qualified leaders for a discounted rate.

I've always given plenty of notice and cleaned up ebeyrhring I could, all 4 jobs I have left. But this one .. my sick days are planned out already. . I've been given absolutely no support for the past 6 months due to layoffs and unrealistic demands. So bye.

I too found a new job. Reached out to someone in my network who put my resume in front of hiring manager and I was offered a position, same type of role, comparable pay. Bank experience helped but brand didn’t matter. What I did discover is how nice it is to be an actual person and not a number. When I started at the bank it took weeks to get my equipment. My new job had my equipment sent out two weeks before my start date.

@ac+1jk23a0ff Technology, Software Engineer. Grade 15 here- went into consulting for the bigger bucks. The bank brand didn’t help or hurt because I also left banking to go into a different industry.

Which function were you in? Legal, HR, Ops, IT, ...?
Did the brand of US Bank help or hurt the process?
Were you at Gr 14 and are now identified as Gr 16-17 equivalent elsewhere?
