Hearing that using year-end performance review, most departments are tasked with the goal of identifying 5% of workforce that are performing below expectations to be eliminated. You should see attrition by year end and moving up in Jan and then staying steady.

I know few that were placed on PIP. However, I don't know how long do PIPs last? Is it 30 days or 60 days?
Bonus pool was also slashed by 70% this year.

Some departments don't have anyone left to cut thanks to the poor choices made as to who was laid off earlier this year.
