I've worked for a company owned by DXc for 25 yrs, I'm not a manager, I'm not even a Team leader, personally, for me its the best job I've ever had with the work-life balance, I'm not rich, I don't earn a fortune, but I have a comfortable life but surely if you are that unhappy, why not just leave? Sure there are things I would change, but generally speaking I am happy with my lot.

as an ex DXC people manager you sound like my perfect employee.....low maintenance and as long as you can continue to work from home you will keep turning up.
sounds like you are the perfect resource for DXC. Ask for little from your manager, don't make any problems for anyone, seek no personal development or expect DXC to develop or reward you annually.
DXC only existed since 2017 so there is no way you worked for DXC for 25 years! Your happy working for a company that doesn't give pay increases for costof living let alone merit ? Your out of your feaken mind!

@OP+1bKhtPPO your a perfect type of person for DXC turn up do little, get paid little, loads of managers to keep you occupied with duplicate process, no pay aspirations, no skills or experience required, switch off after minimum company therefore in constant decline.
A successful company gives pay, offers options extra chances if wanted, progression, expansion, open management, not layers of lower management making up non value add task to keep their jobs.
So yes for a declining company like DXC it's suits your outlook and everyone is moving to your style of thinking as people are fed up. As you say you don't earn a fortune and that's DXCs main strategy to pay low.
@OP+1bKhtPPO - I think you'll find a heck of a lot do! The attrition rate, when combined with WFR is part of the reason sales types cannot find knowledgeable types to attend/support 2nd and 3rd session customer meetings! You maybe one of knowledgeable types being fought over by sales?
Deliberate policy has cut off the head of the snake! New deals are not happening at the rate required.
I left because I found I was being loaded up like a donkey but not recognised... Too many do nothing and take credit, I bet, happy/content as you are, you would run out of hands counting these types around you!
