Is any else seeing favoritism with these promotions? There are people getting promoted who don’t even have knowledge of the jobs they will be moving into. Good Ol HR strikes again. Why is it so hard to just pick the best candidate? This zone operation will be interesting to see how it unfolds

Continues to be a big problem, at least it was in the Northeast. No thought given based on ability or past performance. Makes the whole “skills of the future” garbage seem silly.
@OP+18mpzGP0 you do realize that each department makes the call on who to hire not HR, recruiters will compile and do a prescreen then send the resumes to the hiring managers and they will then let the recruiter know who to make the offer to.
and yes there is favoritism, I have seen unqualified individuals get hired because there friend of 20 years was in the hiring process, or a person that was underqualified was hired over much more qualified individuals because the hire that was made was the more politically correct hire.
What are you babbling about pizza and little girls for? Creepy.
Look no further than Wilson, Shapiro, Brandt, Parsons, and the gaggle of nimrids at the top. They are the poster children for this. No clue, no logical answers, no reasonable direction, but paid tons of $$$$ for running a once great company right into the ground.
From what I have observed in the past 2 decades promotions are given to the best brown nose s— ups. Not often are they the best qualified. This has always been a pattern at this company which absolutely applies to yearly review for pay increase.
Yes I agree. Has anyone else noticed the managers obsession with Pizza? "I love pizza", "I can eat pizza all day" "I'm obsessed with pizza" I'm pretty sure it's code word for Little girl. Sickening!
