Usually they happen on Thursday with your last day being Friday. Don't see why this week would be any different

@YEKHBmi-3kvo : looks like you are too naive or expecting others to be so ...

how on earth would you reference a twitter post about an internal memo ?

what the OP is probably trying to say is that there will be a bulk layoff in May which usually is done around earnings season.

We get buy the best we can, clients have contracts that they can't easily get out of. The cost of moving your thousands of servers, storage , application support is so great. Our clients are limping along and when their contracts (and DXC's income) are ending, most are leaving.

The sad thing is that when it comes, it will all suddenly tip over the edge.

Look how much that minor blip with the Register story back in November did...

Something like a major miss on financials is coming and it will sink like a stone straight after.

Indeed I have wondered the same, and the story of the Emperor's new clothes comes to mind. People know what's happening, but no one prominent is prepared to admit so in public. Clearly, the company has so far managed to hoodwink customers that "business as normal" is the order of the day- In truth, said days are numbered.

The fat cats in the NY Stock Exchange will only dump stock when they decide the dividends and forecasts are no longer going to be met. Till then, they'll happily let Lawrie slice and dice the company assets, along with the questionable skills of the matching HR steak cutting incumbent.

Can anyone on this forum tell me how the F-- DXC can operate a company when they have decimated the count of people with redundancies, and the remainers are supposed to do the work? Is that bloody lunatic who gets his steak cut in his right mind?
