For some it is much better, but I also know a few people who have regretted leaving here because in other companies they also have issues, just a little different.

I've worked for a few of the other profit companies. They are all the same layoffs, lies, corruption and greed.
@bSbam+1cQdFlk2 🤔 - regulated industries tend to do that.
@9ljl+1cQdFlk2 🤔 - “You will never get innovation or compassion from either types. And those types lie, cheat and steal.” ~~ very compassionate
The industry is a circle of many who lack experience competence and credibility.
Close minded anti-change agents who do not grow and threatened by others with sound knowledge/competence
Nope. If they are run by people with MBAs, all common sense goes out the door. Add hiring people who are over 55. You will never get innovation or compassion from either types. And those types lie, cheat and steal. Then hire their buddies to keep quiet.
I have to agree with the non-profit comments. Have a friend working at a non-profit insurance company and they are not nearly as stressed as everyone is at Anthem. And the pay and benefits are comparable. They don't have to work 60 hour work weeks before and after their week of PTO just to get the time off/away......
YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I left a few months ago and I am NOT stressed or are we hounded for production. I told them what the production was for Anthem and they said they were nuts and they don’t care about overworking their staff.
What is that old saying - Same SH** Different Place. The first comment above about non-profit - is so true. We were a much better company before we went public.
They are all the same, unless they are non-profit. Once you remove greed and shareholders from the equation things are different.
If you read the other forums on this site, there doesn’t seem to be much difference.
