Thread regarding Anthem Inc. layoffs

Corrupt and Evil

This company is getting worse by the second. Gail Beaudeux is evil and hates people. She makes stupid decisions and wastes money on stupid name changes nobody in healthcare cares about. Plus it’s the 3rd name change in 10 years.

Now let’s talk about Texas. That CEO is awful. He loses constantly and the leadership at Elephant health keeps that loser. He should be fired. He is awful, silly and incapable of leading. I should go look for a new job. I am scared I won’t have a job.

If Texas leadership is so great, why do they keep losing so much business? In the recent StarPlus announcement, they lost almost all that line of business. Hope as many as possible in the Texas health plans keep their jobs.

Elevance has LOB in Texas including Medicare and Medicaid. Not sure who your leadership reference here is, but I think the TX leadership has been great. Other corporate leaders, maybe not so much.

@9sao+1oau2I9F, chill, no one is impersonating a moderator. What probably happened is that someone tried to quote another person's post by clicking the "embed" button. The embed doesn't seem to be working, so you can't see the full quote, just the "post from thelayoff" part of it.

What is this "Post from TheLayoff.com" garbage?
I don't buy it. If you were a true moderator your grammar and punctuation would be better than a fifth grader's...unless you are a fifth grader working under the table as a moderator for Thelayoff.com. Buy a brain.

Can only speak for IT … just check out the demographics now in IT department and it’s clear what is happening there ….

Is the company replacing you with H1B? Require you to train them before forcing you out?

I’m sorry it happened to you. My point was that you cannot generally say “all” or “the only” people leaving are those forced out. That is simply not true. Are some, yes? Big difference between some and all.

Hey @8ylk+1oau2I9F … for your information am not generalizing here and am exactly in a position to be speaking in regards to this subject. What I had neglected to let your “brown nose” behind aware is that I was one of the many associates forced out by this company after 25 years of service. To add insult to injury I had to train a group of people who eventually took over my position.

Yo @8ylk+1oau2I9F … for your information I am i a perfect position speaking about this coz I’m one of the people that was forced out via the old reasoning as “REORG” … yup after 25 years working with this company I was Riffed and adding insult to injury I had to train the people they hired to take over my job. Long are the days were associates are rewarded for their hard work and loyalty so not sure who your are su-king up in this company but believe you me once they no longer see value in you they will not hesitate to kick you out cold. Good luck to you and your illusions.

Easy to speak in generalities isn’t it? Have had 4 retire in my group in the last year. None were forced. Happy for them but very sorry to see them go.

You should stick to speaking about things you’re in a position to speak about!

Poster @3nqr+1oau2I9F - yes it's true some retire from this toxic DUMP but most don't. I've seen numerous people in the later years of their career laid off and forced to make a career change which severely damaged them emotionally and financially. I would never wish that on anyone but the truth is it's more likely to happen here. This place su-ks! If you don't believe it - just stick around.

You'll be lucky to make it to retirement. I'm 55+ and had 22 years with Elevance and had planned to retire from there when I got the dreaded Thursday layoff notice. So yes, there are other jobs out there but companies don't want to hire 'older' workers which I've experienced first hand.

Hate all the negativities. There are other jobs, if you are unhappy find another job and let someone else have the opportunity. I see people retiring from this company that have been her 25-30+ years which should say something about the company.
