Thoughts on how CVE handles vaccine mandates? Current messaging is vaccination is not required "at this time". The pessimist in me feel it's only a matter of time before employees will have to choose between vaccination or their job.

Cenovus please bring in mandated vaccines like CNRL! Maybe our stock price will go up then to the 30s or 40s.
Facts:
- I know 4 people that are injured by vaccine
- I know 2 people fully vaccinate and still got virus (one milder and othe very bad)
- Seven of my relatives had it in 2019 (old, young, pregnant and sick) no one had any issues, it passed in few days
- Vaccinnated people still get the virus and can sread it
- Unvaccinated people still can be asymptomatic and go through it witout knowing
- VACCINE COULD PROTECT BUT IT COULD ALSO CAUSE INJURIES.
- ALL OF IT IS PERSONAL GAMBLING AS VACCINE IS NOT EFFECTIVE AND DISEASE IS 50% CHACE OF HAVING ISSUES OR NOT
- LOOK AT THE GOVERNMENT DATA, DEATH RATE IS STILL LOWER THAN SEASONAL FLU
This vaccination did not pass regular safety checks and it should not be mandatory. The fact that is being pushed to teens who have never had any complications with the virus is scary.
Stop attacking each other and understand each other as people gave their own personal reasons for getting the vaccine or not.
This is a totally crazy thought. Just imagine if the vax was harmful. Has CVE done any contingency planning for that possibility?
I know the science settled and the vax is safe because a few months have passed since the first shot and I don't know anybody who has died, so the is no way anything could possibly happen several years down the road, that is just crazy conspiracy theory nonsense. But I wonder if there is any staffing contingency plan in place, just incase?
Is it smart to fire the unvaxxed, they could be our contingency plan.

I laugh when people bring up a dr-g they did a quick google search for that caused side effects. Thalidomide was an or-l dr-g taken daily. It was never approved and was never trialed. It was made by a German company in the 60’s. Who kept changing the name as side effects started coming out. Anyone can have side effects from anything including Advil which I bet you would take in a minute with a headache. People have died from liver failure by taking Advil. I dont want you next to me carrying a new strain of a disease that will ki-l me with a break through infection because you were to scared to get vaccinated, or nor do I want to bring it home with me to give it to someone battling cancer. Its already medically proven that the new strains are being developed in the bodies of the unvaccinated. Its no different then not wanting you to handle my food if you have Hep A. I bet you would want the person fired that gave you Hep A. You probably also laughed at Jenny McCarthy when she was saying vaccines will cause all children to get autism which is medically impossible, and called her id--tic. I guess you are also dont remember measles that started ki----g people again because of people like Jenny McCarthy. Its your right not to take it if you don't want but is also the right of a company to employ people who will protect the company as well as its employees. They also don't have to employe you if you are a risk to others or their reputation. They can legally change the terms of employment at anytime, all they have to do is give you two weeks notice to accept the new terms or not its is your choice.

There was an out break at CL last week all unvaccinated mo--ns. Its time to get rid of the people who don't believe in the safety of others. Everyone has had long enough to get vaccinated. Maybe that should be criteria for the next rounds of layoffs.
Why do I have to work next to science deniers? The vaccine is highly effective, what are you scared of? I thought Cenovus was supposed to hire intelligent people?

It's a personal choice up until surgeries are being cancelled, the Healthcare system is collapsing, and it's costing 30k of taxpayer dollars to treat each Covidiot in the ICU, then it's the governments choice.
So what is the point of a vaccine mandate? honestly, its a personal choice to not get one and if you have a vaccine you are totally fine. so what are we doing here???
Starting soon.... you'll have to register your vaccination status online with the company. When we are return to work, mandatory 3 days a week, if you choose not to register your status you'll be subject to rapid testing. If you don't do the rapid testing.............. they are doing wonderful things at Walmart these days. lol
Seriously? As much as I dislike Cenovus management, I would love it they put vaccine mandates in place. If they did this, it would show that they have at least some level of competence (unlike our current provincial government).
Wouldn't blow my mind they jump on board with the vaccine train , makes my payout so much sweeter
