Networks getting raises?

It's been about 3 years since I got a raise in AT&T. We used to get raises and bonuses every year without fail.

I've got nothing since back at DXC. that's nearly 10% of my working life. All my friend at different companies got extra for inflation last 2 years. I keep hearing some people in DXC getting bonuses, is it just Networks missing out?

With Christmas coming up the money would be useful.

Raul should be announcing a raise for Networks today on the Town Hall.

His realised that we're not working until we get paid, if he needs Networks to perform then he needs to pay up.

Hopefully he will come to his senses.

Until then I'm working on shopping and the Gym, all approved by my manager.

Great news Mickey has gone, We're expecting Raul to re-instate our AT&T bonuses and rises.

Until then we're doing the bare minimum, agreed amongst Networks.

Speaking to one of the guys in the Networks team, he said his on 40% more than when he left CSC and came back to DXC.

He said its scandalous, cant understand how I can survive on frozen pay for years with everything that's gone up.

His starting to struggle after 3 years of freezes, says his doing minimum until things change.

Do Networks hink they still work at AT&T? How do they get away with this behaviour?

It's so difficult to get them to do anything, the network managers are real blockers and the staff play on that.

They are the highest paid techies and seem immune from cuts, to get them to do any work is very difficult. Quite a few of them have nothing to do but aren't redeployed. It seems they are in a different tower and DXC managers cannot do anything, they are left to do what they want.

Things must change.

I wish I was in Networks, higher pay and you don't have to do much. One of the Networks lads went on Holiday came back Mid week and the nobody said anything. 2 days free holiday.

They go on a call once every couple weeks in the meantime they can do what they like, nobody knows what they are doing and they are hard to get hold off.

Our ar-e nal managers in delivery cut so much that your constantly against it, and on calls every day.

 @10hus+1pHtgqNy you can keep dreaming on. My Networks Team Manager recently told me that they are no longer adhering to DXC rules.

They now realise that they will get nothing out of DXC after been here a few years, and hearing some mugs get nothing for a whole decade.

He told me to take as much time off as i need, he is no longer bothered, he will cover it. He said how Mary Finch purposley ignored the people on the pay question during the Town Hall means it's OK to hammer this company.

He doesn't understand why DXC managers are so loyal after years of beating he thought they would learn better, a number of his colleagues also think the same way as he does now.

You and your friends won't be able to touch Networks.

Lets see!!!

Who cares about Guatam, there's plenty of us Network Managers who will support the staff, unlike DXC managers.

I tell my folks to take plenty of time for their social activities during normal time to make up for the non pay rises since we came back from T.

A couple of guys were out and about the other week, shopping and the other playing badminton. We had a P2 and I just told the Delivery manager were looking into it even though we weren't.

One of the guys answered after 2 hours and that was the start of the Networks clock. We work to our rules not DXC rules. If you don't pay how I'm I supposed to stop from going shopping or bunking off.

We have had enough, just going to play harder to get.

Monday shopping
Tuesday Football
Wednesday Gym workout
Thursday Tennis
Friday Free time

My manager asked if we can help on some work backlog, but until they pay our AT&T level bonuses and pay we have other things planned.

Don't expect to get a response from Network Engineers.

@Pszr+1pHtgqNy your welcome to join us in Networks, we're lucky our managers are behind us not yes men.

They take all the sh-t on our behalf from stupid Delivery managers and other lines of service, we can just chill and do the basic minimal when we want to. During our time at AT&T they learnt to put up that barrier to all DXC requests and they know how to play the game.

Hopefully we can keep our managers in the next shake up, if we get a DXC manager to run Networks we're going to be f$c%Ed.

In the meantime No pay rise=No work

@Owhp+1pHtgqNy any vacancies in Networks?, looks the place to be. Your manager giving you free leisure time off, and a good salary and your well resourced.

Well done Network Managers, It's no different to what the VPs are doing, you have learned to play the game from the top level.

Our delivery managers just f$€k us over all the time with cuts, more work and procedures and we are fed up with it year after year. They are V@#$$$$ su-kers.

Our boss told us that liking a$$ would get us nothing and he double confirmed it after yesterday's call.

He said at this time of year he would normally be working out our raises and bonuses in AT&T. This has become a long forgotten process.

He said don't work, just chill, go shopping or do anything you like there's plenty of slack and there's no reason to go a normal Km or Mile, and definitely not to go the extra mile.

We will keep taking our reasonable AT&T salary levels, he said just think your better off and ahead of the DXC saddos who bust a gut and get 0 every year.

We did say Your either with us in Networks or against.

Mike was against us, we didn't get our bonuses or Merit increases, and look what has happened, his gone!

Our Networks managers don't take no sh-t, they will protect us against your work requests, we will continue to do nothing until we get our merits.

You need to treat us like AT&T did, yearly extra. Hope the next person coming in is listening, otherwise will be *u-k them over, we have had enough.

Or as we do keep your pay at the top pay rates. If you don't get a raise after 2 years you speak out.

If you keep waiting for next years pay review it will never come as you have seen, some of you haven't had raiss for 14 years whilst we were getting raises e ery year in AT&T.

I don't care if we have no work to do, we want paying. By the same measure Mike and Mary, and the other VPs just send 3 emails a year and they get millions, it's a open fraud system of pay for them.

We are the best paid techs in DXC and most deserving. Not any Zoey Biden can do networking.

I got a 20% raise this week. I didn't do anything today! If the company thinks it's staff sit here merrily working away at full pelt they are more delusional than we thought they were. Wake up management, 'cos there soon won't be any company left to cream your bonus and profits off from.

It's not moaning we haven't had a rise or bonus in 3 years, this means we are about 20% behind where we would be if we were in AT&T now. Probably more as we would have got inflation extras in T.

We didn't choose to come back to this dump DXC!!!

Accepted theres not much work in Networks, what is the problem if we go out or shopping, what do you want us to do clean the streets??

I regret the day we came back and since, what an awful place this company is!!!

@op shut up, I'm i Networks and we are on lot more than the Dxc ers.

I only work 2 hours a day, then I shopping and down the sports club and I know load of others in our group that do the same.

Be grateful your not DXC normal, you will get a lot less pay and your managers constantly on your back.

Consider yourself fortunate, for the period of time that you were at AT&T, those left in DXC continued to get nothing. Those in the network tower are likely to have to wait even longer for compensation changes until the remainder catch up.
