Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Shoutout to my homies who were trapped in the lobby in CLT

Good times. Almost 3 hours with no communication followed by a full building evac. Smart building schmart schmuilding!

@7wrj, @7ckd here - I was indeed referring to Charlotte. It's a cesspool of crime and you cannot step out of an office, parking garage, etc. without being immediately accosted by aggressive panhandlers. Consider yourself fortunate if that's all that happens. Don't even think of walking on the sidewalks there after dusk. Why they ever moved to such a toilet bowl is beyond me.

@7wrj Atlanta is no where near as sketch as Charlotte.

Charlotte, I have had many unpleasant incidents and an attempted mugging since I moved here.

They were better off trapped in the building than getting mugged and/or panhandled on the way home.

@1oub+1ndF4Yxd It's probably not the building but the Honeywell systems installed in it by Honeywell. The landlord was probably, ok if you install that sh1t its your problem hahaha.

This is hilarious Darius! Honeywell needs to complain to the building owner. I hope everyone affected charges their time waiting to an indirect number.

The first time I visited the CLT bldg, it was a nightmare to know where to park and how to enter. Given that its state of 'art', basics like parking and entry should have been easier.

I think the Architects took it too literally when asked to match the building to Honeywell. Decades out of date, high price, low quality and does not work.

What, Honeywell's showcase building a huge disaster, well I never!
The lobby staff having been complaining since day 1 that nothing works.
Not a great sell since they are rumored to be subletting more floors as they reduce their own number. Eventually there will just a couple of token floors of this god awful building with a rented sign sat in by Honeywell.
