It makes me feel validated in my career that Octavian used the raise I never received this year to travel to Japan and dine with Hitachi executives at posh sushi restaurants.
Also, shout out to the Hitachi Vantara LinkedIn page for the constant stream of hack awards they continue posting about that the executives who have no impact or vision for the company magically continue to receive. They make great PR for the DEI crowd who don't purchases our products.
Its funny that if you visit the leadership profile of Vantara management, you have the option of saving their profile image. Like who the he-l would want that :)

Shelia, Octavian, Tony and Joe are all just plain bad. Bad for field morale, bad for Engineering and PM morale, and they’ve done the one thing it’s been so hard to do: unite everyone in hatred for these Sr. leaders. I’ve heard that Japan is snooping around but I haven’t seen it myself since I’m in the field with customers. I hope they do come in and take over. It needs to happen.

Quick question... Do any of the APAC employees ever get laid off/let go, specifically Japanese employees? I simply have never heard that before.
@7sv HVKk have many employee with no work to do. They are positioning to take over any work they can. It going to be a competition for relevancy to show how important you are when the next round comes. If this quarter is bad like q1 it will get worse.

They will take control" Nailed it. The Japanese employees from the Hitachi mother ship have been visiting offices, poking around more then ever, and asking to do a bunch of requests.

Tokanaga, Gajin, now Sheila is next in line to drive Vantara further down and then get promoted at Hitachi corporate.
Hopefully soon we’ll see the back of this NetApp gang. They have decimated a business that was already on its knees.
