How is it that you are still in business?
The usual end of month WFR will be happening this week.
Fire all project managers. They are incompetent.
Another relaxing work week at Gainwell. Video games and Netflix. I’ll grill if the weather is nice.
Grilling burgers on company time is the best. I often tune out during all the pointless meetings I'm forced to sit in at this company and go outside and light the grill up. Instead of working at Gainwell, try grilling at Gainwell instead. It's good for the soul.
Cheers to another week of doing nothing, everyone. Just doing my best to emulate Gainwell's c-suite.
Why exactly would you want to be a good stand up employee for a company that does nothing but abuse you as an employee? For a company that is illegal and unethical? For a company that has no value for you? For a company that wants to offshore your job and then fire you? For a company that has inept leaders? For a company that is destined to fail?
Those offended by employees doing nothing are working at the wrong company.
We aren’t going anywhere.
Why does it bother you? The company is going to sink no matter what any of us do.
You lazy people who put in zero effort need to go.

I agree. The do gooders need to look around. This company is so far gone that it doesn’t matter what they do it is still a sinking ship. It can’t be stopped. The leaders are so inept and incapable of running this company that it is going to slowly sink. All the facts have been mentioned on here already, financials are in the red, offshoring over half of the company, losing more business than gaining, all DDIs have failed, nearly all accounts are missing their SLAs, financial penalties, high percentage of accounts are on corrective action plans, layoffs weekly, inept leadership, constant restructuring, leadership turnover, disgruntled employees, never giving an explanation for the layoffs, selling customers things that they have no ability or intention of delivering, and the list goes on.
It’s time to pull your head out of the sand and look around a little bit. Saying that “all companies su-k” is just you telling yourself a story. All companies don’t operate unethically and illegally. Or try to eliminate every employee if possible for a cheaper alternative.
Gainwell is a certain kind of special. It’s quite amazing that they have been able to search the globe and assemble such a massive team of superstars that su-k so badly.
Shouldn’t it be enough proof to you when you watch the town halls? The amount of lies and misconceptions sold there is amazing. It’s like watching a political ad. If you believe half of that your head is definitely in the sand.
My feet are definitely the desk. I’m not going to do anything for Gainwell. They are out to get me so F them. I have seen enough of my coworkers let go for no reason.
Clearly you are butt hurt about the majority of us doing nothing.
Well get over it. We are riding this ship to the bottom of the drain on the Gainwell dime.
You can do as good of a job as you want. Gainwell will still go down the drain. You can’t stop it. Just by being affiliated or employed by Gainwell you are choosing to be trained poorly and surrounded by terrible leadership in an unethical and illegally operated company.
So maybe you are one of those leaders. And you are upset because people on here are openly telling the truth about doing nothing.
So Mr Leader what are you going to do? There is no way you can catch us. No amount of spyware and micromanagers can catch us.
For those taking pride in being “so-called” moral police/judge of Gainwell, ask yourself if -
are you not getting paid for what you signed up for?
is Gainwell doing anything to you despite you earning free money like a thief?
are you hired to police the policies and overall strategy (offshoring or not) OR are you in senior exec position to pass your judgement on Gainwell’s strategy?
My take on this is simple - do your role well and remember that employment is not entitled - in US all employment is at will unless otherwise agreed upon during hiring process.
I’m in complete agreement. Gainwell is on a trajectory to go over a cliff. There is no changing that.

You can’t do a good job working for Gainwell. That is not how Gainwell operates. They want every employee in the gutter with them. If you try and stand up and do the right thing and work hard you will find yourself in the unemployment line.
It may seem counterintuitive but the best thing you can do is to do nothing. Gainwell has chosen to operate illegally and unethically. And they have chosen to treat their employees even worse than that. A few Gainwell employees trying to disrupt what Gainwell is doing only will result in those employees being laid off. Gainwell is a terrible company. A few Gainwell employees are not going to change that fact.
The best thing we can do as employees is to do nothing. It isn’t because of the employees that the customers are getting sc--wed. It’s because of Gainwell leadership and the way they choose to do business. Illegally and unethically.
So you do gooders aren’t really helping anything. The best thing we can all do is play video games on company time.
To the folks that are doing nothing, you get to live with that, and I'm sure you don't care. Most of us are showing up to work, doing our jobs, and taking care of our clients. They deserve that. Whatever Gainwell is doing to us is not on them, and there are actual Medicaid patients in need of help and providers who are trying to help them at the end of this unethical and illegal game that Gainwell is playing. In off hours, some of us are looking for other jobs. What Gainwell is doing feels dirty to me, and I won't work for them longer than I have to, but I won't let the client suffer because of them while I'm still here. Shame on those of you who are meeting Gainwell in the gutter. You don't deserve your paycheck.

Hahaha. Nope. Doing nothing doesn’t sc--w my teammates. But it does give Gainwell the bird.
Obviously you are offended that many people choose to do nothing and still get paid at Gainwell Technologies. Well get over it. Gainwell is a terrible company. Far worse than the majority others. Gainwell needs shut down. Operating illegally and unethically while dumping US workers for overseas workers is enough to warrant doing nothing or shutting them down. Much less the ineptness of the leaders and their zero value of the employees.
So no doing nothing does not hurt my teammates. Get over it. Gainwell needs more employees to do nothing.
In fact hard workers are at just as much of a risk of layoff as those doing nothing. Maybe those hard workers are at more of a risk because they are in sight while the ones doing nothing are not.
No matter what, if you brag about doing nothing you are sc--wing over your teammates, and at least one of them works hard and does a good job.
That alone makes you a scrub and not a good person.

Gainwell is the biggest facade.
They decide to take advantage of every customer they have. So I choose to take advantage of Gainwell by doing nothing. Pretty simple. They are such a toxic dishonest company it is sickening.
So let’s look at your questions.
- Yes Gainwell is paying me. That’s how employment works.
- Gainwell is mistreating me by creating a toxic threatening atmosphere. They threaten me with layoffs daily. Their leaders are inept and threaten my future with the company. They put me at risk by having me do illegal and unethical things.
- I am definitely hired to police their policies. That’s why whistleblower policies exist. Policing this illegal and unethical behavior has to happen from within. Not by someone watching the media and the fake awards Gainwell is buying.
So get off your so called morals and look at reality.

Indeed. No reason to care about Gainwell, Gainwell does not care about you or their clients.
To all those people saying you need to do a good job.
Stuff like this affirms that I am doing the right thing by doing nothing.
Gainwell has no business operating. They should be shut down and the doors should be closed.
All the reasons that have been given so many times on here are why. They simply have no need to be in the business of sc--wing over so many people as their customers and then sc--wing their own employees.

I know of 30 people this week that got laid off. Me included. I got 2 days notice that they not only weren’t renewing my contract in June but they were terminating it early. No reason given other than it was not performance based. However I was still in the team meeting when they came in telling everyone it was so they felt “safe” as long as they were doing their job. Which was the same script they read from during fall layoffs.
