Recent MetLife hire - should I be worried !! I'm in my 20s work in Tech, not sure if I'm a good culture fit coming from a startup where there was so many less layers of management and bureaucracy...
Yes Investments had layoffs last month too.
Legal and Investments layoffs ...didn't Legal and Investments recently have some changes at the top?
More layoffs in legal. Kind of LIFO.
Is tech laying off? Multiple orgs barely hired except backfills after the freeze
@7izn+1p65ulYF - The executives care that the response rate is high and like to have some scores where they beat their peers so they can feel proud of themselves. The only reason the exec's care even a little about the survey results is that employee satisfaction correlates with employee productivity.
Ten to one they are trying "AI" to "process" the comments for them so they don't have to actually read them.
When has the executive team ever actually cared about myvoice?

@2geu+1p65ulYF AVPs have firmly planted their lips on the arses of the SLT so they don't lose their jobs. The latest survey isn't going to look good for them.
@2geu+1p65ulYF Spot on. The word / mandate from the top is do more with less.
SLT is quietly strategizing on which pebbles to remove so that the peons can do the job of 4 people instead of 3. If you raise the bar enough, they may give you a MetLife coffee mug to show you how much you mean to them.
Investments as well.
