Thread regarding Gainwell Technologies layoffs

Town Hall ?

I've never experienced anything like this. This is my 3rd town hall at the company with this CEO, and I don't recall any of them including a Q& A with employees. Is this the norm here? Mark and co. spend the entire call talking about how great the company is doing and plans going forward to keep winning over clients. I understand our customers come first but I feel like Gainwell cares nothing about their employees, as we're never mentioned. Am I missing something here? Is there another avenue where questions are being addressed?

They want to hire in India and Phillipines because it's cheap labor.

Cry about it. Keep "working" while the CEO tells you he wants you gone. I'll be drawing a check and laughing about it.

Previous post -
If your boss is a liar then you not doing your job and drawing paychecks alone does make you a saint - in your own self esteem/integrity, you are a fraud/cheater who is stealing money. It is Veritas who decides how they want their $$$ to be spent and where.

Don’t lose your character just because you are upset with corporation and system. Period.

No changes there, my boss has been a liar and backstabber since day one which is why I proudly draw a check and do as little as possible. Good companies do not outsource to India. Period.

Don't be a fool - CEO shared in TownHall that they are aggressively hiring 1000+ in India as well as Phillipines. Watch out for your jobs and backstab everyone including your boss for your job security - Gainwell turning honest people into animals!!

With Gainwell already doing subpar work you can expect that to decline even more as offshoring to India increases. I have done work with India in the past and their quality of work is not to the same standard as the US.

Things are going to get worse. Even as it seems impossible things are going to decline more.

I think we have an entire army of quiet quitters working here now. No reason to care or even put in any effort at this point.

Don’t come in here with racist rhetoric.

This is not about that.

Americans OUT
Indians IN

That is correct. If the number of employees is going to grow by 1,000 this year and we are having layoffs in the USA it should be obvious what’s happening here.

Don’t be fooled by the lies you were told today.

Just open your eyes and look around.

Pay attention. The truth isn’t what you are being told.

I think the CEO town halls are supposed to be a very big picture or that is their goal. I have noticed a lot more individual leaders doing smaller town halls and often questions are not only encouraged but answered. I have experienced similar things at other large organizations I have worked for, Quarterly town halls are almost always we are great, and here is why situation.

Nope. This is the norm. You don’t like the Unmatched Employee Experience?
