Time to jump ships. Being offered bonus to join competitors while being stiffed by Windstream. And NO, HE-L NO, I will not help transition projects to others.

I feel your pain. I worked hard and my job was my life. I'm so upset and ashamed with our company. It's not worth it to me anymore. I know after 30 years they won't me to leave and I feel them pushing out the door everyday. Senority means nothing anymore. Vacation time and tour selection now is so unfair and not transparent. New hires get days I can't. Sick of it. Company is getting what they deserve. Kids that don't care and will leave if you hurt their little feelings.
I won't disagree. I have ran into so many people who refuse to share information. At one point I worked with a lady that would be super helpful. Then you would find out later everything she was telling you was deliberately incorrect.
She is in Internal Audit now.
I am still shocked and upset windstream bought the CLEC I worked for. I was there 20yrs and my co-workers became great friends who I am still in touch with today over 5yrs later. Not in touch with a single legacy Windstream employee. They were so afraid of losing their job to the new crop of clec employees that they had a di-k attitude and refused to share any knowledge of the WIN network whatsoever. You can tell they went thru this before several times. Every WIN employee I came in contact with had this same attitude. Looking back I guess I can’tblame them, that environment was created by a sub par management team who also only had one concern, their own job. It was an ugly environment.
Remember how the BOD approved a new contract for TT right before we filed for bankruptcy?
They knew we were filing, and gave that worm a new contract with a nice golden parachute to ensure we couldn't get rid of him.
The BOD is more responsible for TT being here than anyone else. He's just the wormy little accountant douche with delicate hands and a nice manicure we all hate.
Corporate Stupidity can and will ki-l every company. The Biggest act of stupidity I have seen to date is keeping the person steering the ship, that steered the company right into Bankruptcy. Yes that would be the "great" TT. The BOD are just a bunch of sheep who were paid off to keep TT. Any real company who wants to stay afloat would of got rid of the poison that put them in bankruptcy.
Our team has gotten several pieces of talent that was promising over the past few years. After a couple of months interacting with Kinetic leadership they have all left. Always the same story. Neurotic leadership, doesn't know the direction they want to go, no real long-term plan, lack of knowledge.
Attracting talent is difficult to start with and Windstream is damaged goods.
Take a look at our glassdoor reviews. We were at 2.7 until HR asked everyone to respond with feedback.

The rule of thumb is to NEVER accept a position at a company under 3 stars.
The other key indicator is the number of people leaving the company. No one wants to clean up someone else's mess.
The executive team just loves people like you. They keep putting the screws to you and you just keep on taking it and dreaming of better times at Windstream. That ain't going to happen, but hang in there until they kick you out and they will eventually.
Just pull the cable and launch the ejection seat. I got 3x the work from poor planning of leadership. Gave a 3 days notice and haven't looked back. My managers lost their sh!t
Everyday my former coworkers tell me about the bad car accident that is WIN.
I cashed out for a 50% raise.
Lol. I had to pay for the copies of keys I use in order to do my job. Site keys, vehicles, generators, gate locks. Ergo, that's my property and I won't surrender it when I leave.
than you need to go fast. No 2 week notice. Walk in 1 day, hand them your badge, cell phone, any keys, and laptop and say bye bye.........
