@1br2 they were in a worse spot before. Elevidys was off the market, a new pi----g match with the FDA was happening every other day through news outlets, and Doug was making an a-s out of the company.

At least now Elevidys is seeing sales, Doug is leaving, and all the outspoken opponents in the FDA are gone.

You don't have a source, you're just speculating.

@1bpa Just look at the stock. Look at the balance sheet. Look at the competition. 36% workforce reduction happened when they were in a much better place. Doesn't take a genius and they've been quiet.

@74s why try to trash people laid off? If things can be transferred smoothly who needs this many people for one dr-g?

@5c7 stop talking trash nothing is going to happen all the useless people have been fired already anyone left behind are clearly the most important to the company.

@3yn it's their stupid decision to still keep nathan and bob here at bedford when they do absolutely nothing

@3ts revenue my friend, revenue. you and i are the costliest expense here. my advice if you lose your job is to fine another line of work. biotech and pharma are going through the worst period ive seen in my many years in the industry.

@3sk But what’s the reason for another wave?

by

Post ID: @3ts+1k0qw4tzd

@3t1 from the same person who wrote the first post back in Sept last year predicting the layoffs before the bedford move

Second wave confirmed in September

@3s5 Oh, I wouldn’t be even a little bit surprised — I mean, when it comes to bad decisions, they’re absolute Olympic-level experts. Just give it until December... the second wave is practically penciled in already.
Sure, they say “barring any major shakeups,” but c’mon... major shakeups are practically the company holiday tradition at this point.

@3p4 bilal wanted to use bedford and rto to cull numbers tho

hr is doing directory work for existing and laid off employees (sharepoint and workday are not up to date at all) and put together final lists. barring any more major shakeups (could happen), i would be surprised if they did a second wave

There is too much misinformation here, are they actually going to layoff more people? I thought they were ok financially for some time. Many still left here have families and bills to pay

@3fr fight very hard to stay in a company where "success" is defined by surviving layoffs and dodging accountability like it’s an Olympic sport.
And let's be honest: what better way to prove you're a valuable employee than clinging to your desk like it's the last lifeboat on the Titanic, while loudly declaring your coworkers incompetent? That’s not insecurity — that’s corporate loyalty.

@3fr Ah yes, nothing screams "healthy culture" quite like publicly celebrating your colleagues' layoffs. A true masterclass in empathy and leadership — firing people and then calling it a detox. Bravo!
so glad to hear the workplace is now an exclusive club of “non-useless” survivors. I’m sure morale, trust, and job security are at an all-time high. Who wouldn’t thrive in an environment where people are one reorg away from being labeled toxic and cheered out the door?
#Blessed #Resilience #LeadershipGoals.

@3fr Because nothing says "healthy work environment" like celebrating layoffs with a victory lap and calling former colleagues “useless.” Truly inspirational leadership energy — HR must be thrilled. Getting spared in a layoff clearly means you're the MVP now. and yes, everyone knows companies love to keep the lazy, cheaper employee, gossip-fueled drama machines around. Why waste time on talent, skill, or actual contribution when you can promote whoever spends the most time whispering in the break room and avoiding eye contact with responsibility?
