Thread regarding Cigna layoffs

MA leadership

Who thinks MA will actually make it to the sale given how it’s falling apart horribly in the SNP world and most likely all over. The most inefficient incompetent leadership I’ve ever seen running this plan. Wow! How is this being allowed? Who hired them? Who oversees their work? Nobody?????

Cigna has bungled more Medicare contracts than I have fingers, and it goes back decades. They ditched MA because they sc--wed up even more contracts and couldn’t risk sanctions…again. Nothing worse than being stuck in an MA contract and not be able to market or sell the products. Unfortunately for everyone, it is a road well traveled by Cigna.

To answer your question, per the FAQ every MA employee has access to. We will not be given a letter about our transition. It will just happen automatically.

So nothing is guaranteed.

MA employees, are you being given any written communication on you being moved to HCSC? Is there any salary structure and benefits already discussed ?

Every other week another mediocre to poor performer is made director, senior director, managing director, etc.

I am shocked at how such incompetent leaders have made it to the top of MA. Speechless.

I guess no one wants to be the captain of this sinking ship.

Friends promote friends, or people they have a better liking to vs competent. It's been a brain drain for sure with limited experience leading the pack. And that's why Cigna kicked Cigna MA to the curb.
