Where the Networks pay raise

It's been over 2 years now I have been in DXC Networks and haven't had a raise.
In AT&T we used to get raises plus a bonus every year. Where has our money gone?

I'm working to rule until this money comes through I have had 15% pay cut so will be doing 15% less hours. Fed up with this place.

@syjr+1o8GMMo6 When will these delivery b-ms realize that bending over has only got them shafted hard.

We didn't choose to return from AT&T, Dixieland got us back. Luckily AT&T ramped up our packages before we came back so DXC have to pay us good rates.

You can keep quite and let the delivery managers keep shafting up your....

Or you can't say enough is enough and tell them where to go!

What's a nob jockey manager?

@8hrs+1o8GMMo6 We didn't want to come back from AT&T, why would you want to return to a dying company who are pay cutters.

If we have to live with no raises then we need to be compensated in other ways.

Alot of the delivery managers are nob jockeys so you deserve what you get if you don't speak up to them.

Our managers work the same way as the folks on the ground, if we or they don't get paid we don't work. We are a team, not masters and slaves like delivery.

Why should Networks be any different than the rest of us? You’re not special ! There will not be merit increases for all that meet or exceed goals , so just forget it.

Networks new better whe they were sold to At&T and you all were stup-d enough to come back!

@6yuu+1o8GMMo6 - Yes, understood the networks team is under pain (because of no rises). Since you are under extreme pain - we will put it to rest! (hospice).

"you in the networks just ride on others and think you are special."

We are special we don't let "Ah Yes MeTall" and his cronies bully us around.

You lot in delivery are a joke we are under him also but the Networks Tower leaders tell him where to go and ignore him.

I guess it's because you delivery folk aren't used to raises and you don't feel any pain, where as we are used to annual increases, and now that they have been taken away from us we feel the pain.

If you don't take a stance or strike the Indian's and others will walk all over you.

Enjoy the pain if you like being a treated like a slave, or get compensated.

: @6nfk+1o8GMMo6 - As far as DXC is concerned you're just irrelevant sc-m like the rest of us.

One correction to the above. "sc-m like the rest of us" - more sc-mier than the rest cause - you in the networks just ride on others and think you are special.

I've never understood why Networks think they are special or different to the rest of us DXC employees. DXC does not give pay rises, it should but it doesn't. It's not it DXC does not give payrises except to Networks. As far as DXC is concerned you're just irrelevant sc-m like the rest of us.

We got a raise and bonus every year in AT&T, that's normal behaviour. That's what Mike and his cronies get and they see that as normal and fair.

Until we get that there's quite a few of us in Networks who are currently taking extra free days instead to compensate us.

Pat up or were going to chill.

Why did you come back to DXC, you know DXC NEVER EVER has given merit increases to more than just a few !

I got a less than 1% raise in 2009 and then less than 4% in 2021 because I had 2 great people managers in those years

2 increases in 13 years when I either met or exceeded all my goals is an outrage.

I couldn’t take the BS anymore and Retried !

Lucky for me I received pensions from 3 companies i worked for BEFORE CSC/DXC , invested well and US Social security

@5kqi+1o8GMMo6 Mate come and get us, were not bothered, we make no secret of it Networks.

We will take days off to make up our pay. We are not wimps like the delivery folk, you keep getting bashed and crushed by your management till you end up breaking down, and enjoy it.

If we don't get paid we don't work, simple as.

Im taking 3 days off for free this week. Little holiday break. Might make it re occurring.

Will compensate some of my AT&T pay and bonuses I would off got.

Whilst it's not as good as pay, it's a payback from Mykey.

Alot of the delivery managers the main reasons this company is in a mess.

What happened to cutting down the layers?

What happened to DXC BUREAUCRACY busters?, these guys just introduce more bureaucracy every day.

The delivery guys have been well fu---d over and the end customers are seeing it on the ground. The customers know what's going on.

We in Networks have decent managers they defend us, keep the staffing levels high so we're not stressed and with slack they can give us free time as they can't give us more pay.

We used to be looked after in AT&T even though they had big debts they paid the employees. DXC only pay Mike and friends.

I'm taking 2 free days this, and more every week until we get something, fmike.

@1cvc+1o8GMMo6 The delivery tower is full of power hungry L4/L5 yes men inventing jobs and paperwork, no other tower puts up with that kind of rubbish.

So the folks end up delivering nothing but paperwork, waiting for it to be signed off before they can do anything. Whilst other towers have removed all that sh-t and are actually doing proper work.

Meatball and his underlings just Invent new rules which don't exist in DXC and don't communicate them officially as they are scared. They leave the folks on the ground to tell the customers, no wonder nothing is going to get renewed.

In short delivery thing they are working hard but they just end up pushing paper around or pi----g against the wind. Whereas we in Networks do proper work as our managers say No to daft ideas. So we can't afford to take time off.

We did send the salary increase "Packets" from the Payroll server to your bank server, but seems like there were some "Packet Loss". We tried to "re-transmit" the increases and realised that there is a firewall policy "Deny ALL to AT&T b-ms".

Does this sound familiar? Does it ring a bell? This is exactly what to folks tell all the delivery people. So now go open the firewall rules.

@1cvc+1o8GMMo6 - for the great suggestion from your manager, they need to put him on the list. How is it fair for people in other delivery towers who are sweating it out.

My manager has apologised to me and told me he cant ever see the bonuses and rises we were getting in AT&T at DXC.

He said we were promised big things onour return to DXC but get nothing.

The best he can offer is to give me free hours, he said there's plenty of slack in Networks as no new work has come in and they have people twiddling thier thumbs, he said do a few hours a day and that can compensate for the lack of rises, that's the best he can do.

So im only doing half days, no pay no work. Seems the closest we can get to a deal.

I'm guessing the OP wasn't from CSC and transferred into AT&T.

Everyone who was in CSC then went to AT&T then back to DXC surely realises we are at the bottom of the list to get a pay rise.

Don't bi--h about the OP, bi--h about the lack of pay rises at CSC / DXC it's been like it for years, AT&T just happened tp pay the going rate for their staff.

Are you saying that as part of the recent ATT deal we're bringing in thier staff

Well as part of the win against Kyndryl, we hired around 90 of the Kyndryl resources that were ex-ATT resources. Almost all PL6 from 140-160k. Departing Kyndryls were told to make sure they asked for an amount that included at least the next 2 years of pay increases, and they had just gotten 4-6% raises from Kyndryl too.

You guys did scoot there when you were in that company. You were paid big time and taken care of by that company. They had unlimited resources.

Now you are with a company which relies on Platform-X and modern workplace to turn around.

Those are realities of life.

@mte+1o8GMMo6 New AT&T and network engineers

Are you saying that as part of the recent AT&T deal we're bringing in thier staff at them extortionate rates?

If so we're screwed as when the current Networks folks came back from AT&T they are on 1.5 times the pay off a DXC staff.

They need to review all the At&t folks as the cost is so high, this will just blow another hole in the finances.

YAWN...Oh joy, ANOTHER DXC bloke asking for a "raise"... Must be as dense as a pre-dawn fog... And just where is this proverbial RAISE going to come from, Junior? The 1.7 BILLION DOLLARS lost on August 3rd? Maybe it can come from the 12 BILLION DOLLARS in lost revenue since the merger? I think not buddy roe. The ONLY way you'll EVER get a "raise" while working at DXC is if you STOP TIPPING AT STARBUCKS!...You're welcome...

Mate Mr. OP,

If you sleep walked into DXC, welcome to a great company with 130k people - where in a selected 200 people get yearly rises and stock options.

We just made a deal to manage AnT & anT infrastructure for way less than market prices (btw - no other vendor wanted it). Added to that we brought in thousands of people back in (at inflated salaries) and if we have to go by experience, you guys did bare minimum when you were there servicing DXC Technology customers.

So polish up your resume and get ready to do TCP dump and learn some iOS commands and look for something that matches your needs and goals.

Alternatively, please join the 1000s of b-ms here who have decided to ride here till the end.
