@11t yeah it is
4% today. But more than 10% globally by January 2026.
@6bs also said ~4% . Any rumors on AGS ?
I don't think so, Gary's email said "one coordinated workforce action".
If this accounts for only 4% of the workforce, does that mean additional reductions could occur to reach around 10%?
Gary just confirmed its ~4%.
Confirmed in Santa Clara area
If you are in the USA, you will be notified today.
Globally it will vary based on local employment laws.
I just got laid off today. Starting my unemployment application.
Many let go in Gloucester, MA site in both WWOps & SPG
Does anybody know how big is the layoff?
So for anyone if this is your first time going through this at Applied, it typically happens mid week and they have people security posted at the door. Usually your manager is there but this one was different. Your manager’s manager will reach out for a 1:1, which already tells you that you got cut. They read off a script and then you go home. By now, they should be done with US locations. I was told that Taiwan will find out on Sunday and theirs had to wait for regulations or something like that.
I was told 5% today.
@6b0 I want to know too. Is it mostly managers?
Do they make an announcement or how did you find out if you get impacted?
1 in GML and several in SAMs at the Austin office have been impacted
@6ag Yes, I got impacted. in SPG Austin
Do you know if this happens immediately? Who will impact by this? 10-15% is a big number.
@6ag Yep 10-15% reduction confirmed
Layoffs happening today throughout all BUs. Its been confirmed.
Is this info true?
