Thread regarding MetLife Inc. layoffs

MyPath

Can someone explain this to me? You apply for a project outside your department to do in addition to your own work?
Does this actually lead to advancement? Curious-

Allegedly, bringing my while whole self to work and Experimenting will get me brownie points in my review too. Allegedly.

Oh and do my job plus additional workloads inherited through reorganization PLUs exciting new work picked up via My Path.

Shove those brownie points where the sun don’t shine. Not worth the potential for less than $1k more of bonus, zero recognition or opportunities for true career advancement. How sad and desperate do they think us work mules are? I’d rather get a second job at their favorite restaurant and sp-t in their food.
