The top concerns are around layoffs and being fired. If you are let go, then there is no need to worry about RTO or bonus. A large portion of employees do not want to work from home full time, some not at all. Facts are facts whether you like it or not.
"And PS, no one cares about RTO and bonus."
Uhh, that's literally all 90% of the workforce cares about right now.
The company is not 'hemorraging money'. We are in a significantly better financial position this year than last. Like it or not, cutting personnel costs has a material impact on the bottom line and the general economy is a lot better as well. And Catastrophic losses are down a bit too. All in all, it hasn't been too bad. I expect the bonus to be slightly better than last year.
And I know that I'll get downvoted, but facts are stubborn things so I guess IDGAF.
The CEO showing up for this is a good business move. Maybe the first good move he's had in a while. Give him a break - but ONLY on this one.

This photo was taken at Faneuil Hall on Friday as part of the ceremony gifting two vehicles to deserving military families (one Army, one Navy) prior to the Army-Navy game at Gillette Stadium on Saturday. I am not of fan of USAA's CEO but what is wrong with this event?
Sorry, this is not "normal." This is not two guys hanging out together in the backyard; it's a cringeworthy pay for play situation funded by the members' money and poorly thought out and executed layoffs and separations (yes, for every $1000 USAA thinks they'll save with Operation PIPsqueak, they'll spend well beyond that mopping up the damage).
What exactly is your complaint? Normal day to day actions. Move on.
Why? Can you pay your bills, eat out, have fun with your family? What would happen if you lost all of that? That would be related to being laid off or let go. What is your issue? And PS, no one cares about RTO and bonus.

Do you have evidence of the Bank losing $.
We all know the Ins side has had a hard 2 years as all insurance companies have.
The two industries are complementary, when one loses the other usually makes up the difference to a degree.
Both the bank and the Ins. sides have work to do but do show your work, just like you did in school.
Cringe!
Stars & Stripes should be ashamed, putting a photo of our chickenhawk CEO in an article.
