My entire team has just been told we need to find new jobs (either elsewhere in DXC or externally)! The division is being distanced. Some folks have gone into sales support, some were riffed on the spot, the rest of us that are left are on borrowed time!

After 22 years with CSC, then DXC, I got a 3-minute phone call from my manager, who told me that I was being RIF'd because of cost cutting, not my performance, and thank you for my service. She then read something from HR and asked me to get my computer ready to send back (like anyone would want this piece of junk!). Then she said that I was so lucky to be getting the maximum severance of 8 weeks pay, asked if I had any questions, said that I would get some emails with off-boarding info, and then hung up. That was the end of 22 years of many high-profile positions, working tons of hours at the expense of my health and my family. I will miss some of my team, but this company has been k--led by the greedy, incompetent, short-sighted, senior (lack of) management.
Umm, 3uoh Palm Springs is in California, not Florida.
One of our major clients is taking back development from DXC for this very reason. (Americas) They have had it with DXC.
Wouldn't like to lose my DXC 80K income but I put way a good part of into the 401K to lower my tax burden from salary and investments and it would just push me to retire and get away from all this bull. Summer is here and there would be a lot to do outside...…..
Maybe I'll get the WRF and it will push me to retire and enjoy what life I might have left. My Dad always said the only thing you get from work, is being tired.
