It reminds me of the TV series “Severance” where the enslaved drone workers are occasionally rewarded with pathetic, infantile things like Chinese finger traps, caricature drawings and waffle parties.
Hint…this is not what employees want. They want to be treated like adults and be given flexibility to perform their work well in the way that works best for them.
Must be gearing up for a new pulse survey and wanting to avoid the terrible results from last time.
I’m not angry at ice cream. I start off fine. But the anger builds as I spend 45-60 minutes commuting and risking my life in bad traffic with crazy drivers on the road. By the time I’m in the office my mood is not good. There is no reason for it when my team isn’t here and I work remotely from a cubicle all day. I’m pi---d that anyone thinks ice cream will make up for that or help. But it was tasty. Yum.

It’s hilarious to see how angry some people are bc they were offered ice cream. How do yall get through the day with so much anger in you? Life’s too short, if you’re hungry or in the mood, enjoy some ice cream. If you’re not, say no thanks!
A health insurance company handing out fattening ice cream and pizza. Maybe they think it will force folks to participate in the wellness challenge! LMAO. I participate every year because I workout regardless but since FOW, I’ve only made it to gym 2x week versus 5-6 (I go after work hours, too much work for daytime workouts). Due to this, I don’t plan to participate this year. They’ve already decreased our vitality & health physically & mentally, now they want you to get fat and clog your arteries. Then they will deny your claim when you see a doctor over it. lol.
We don’t get any so called “perks” like that at our office but why would anyone even want that?! Give us a gas card! Sorry, I get angry every office trip sitting in an hour of traffic each way, so had to vent! Hope everyone has a good day!

I’m sure they will only have dairy options to further show how much they’re missing the point.
How many people do you know that are lactose intolerant? Hopefully they’ve got some low fat and non dairy options.
