Thread regarding Aetna layoffs

It seems to me we have been disproportionately targeted

Compared to CVS proper with this latest round of layoffs. At least that’s how it looks to me, I may be wrong. I’m also hearing that layoffs are still happening around here. Anecdotal evidence and individual cases is what I’m hearing but still. If you have any additional info or updates, please post. We all are hoping that this season of layoffs is over, so we can breathe for a while.

@5acz+1v355ImN horribly wrong, and likely a shill. Medicaid is not onshore only, im not sure where you heard such a completely insane lie but only plans are onshore. all the IT, infrastructure, most of the applications, and a lot of the reporting are offshored. in reporting areas, even "onshored" employees are from "offshore" areas.

Guess what @1kza+1v355ImN, Medicaid is onshore only so that doesn't apply to us. That includes Duals lob.

Not a rumor. Some will come some from restructuring of business units to DDAT. First wave of restructuring happened this week. DDAT is a cost center, Employees are more expencive. Offshore and contractors are cheaper.

There will be some business impacts. If you have staff that report to you and have the same title as you...someone is going to be cut. Staff under you will be reassigned.
