Hearing mumbling that dozens of positions are set for layoffs between Health Solutions and Carelon case management this week. Does anyone have more concrete information on this?

Behavioral cm layoffs happened today on my team.
@gw definitely BH impacted, that was me and many of my coworkers under Carelon
Is the RIF still going? I’m hoping that Tuesday was it. Anyone know if BH is impacted? Also can someone explain the difference between clinical solutions, health solutions, and Carelon?
@en All elections have consequences.
You have ‘leaders’ like Dr. Gaffigan puzzled at why the feedback results from associate engagement surveys are poor. It doesn’t take a genius to understand that people are literally terrified of losing their livelihood. I just looked at open positions at nearby skilled nursing facilities and none and openings for nurses posted…. Things are really bad.
@e4 you can still apply via the external career site as internal employee. Write down your employee id and put it in on application when applying, if I remember correctly there is a checkbox that you fill I if you were let go due to rif. Just because you may not work your last 30 days doesn’t mean you can’t apply. You just have to do it through external site.
@e4 the ones let go in my department are being given the 30 days to apply for other positions and still be considered internal candidates.
Does anyone know if they are still giving 30 days to appy? (If you'd actually want to try and find another position here) It's probably not the same for everyone. I know you're instantly done. While some are done and not expected to work, they still get 30 days of access to apply for jobs. In those 30 days, they don't have access to teams and emails.
Has anyone heard about Clinical solutions yet?
Yes, entire teams!! They usually move the entire team under new management and then let the team go! If it's an individual, they tell them one on one with HR invited, then tell the team thst person is gone. They are not nice peopl
e!
@cw an entire team? Wow! What department was this?
Typically the employee is notified privately in advance and then the team/department is notified by a meeting.
There is a department wide meeting today so I'm sure more cuts are coming.
Manager, director and team all laid off today, we were in case management. For others who had this happen recently, how was your news delivered?
They RIF’d 20 case managers in the MOC (model of care) dept today, under both health solutions and carelon. Along with a manager and team lead. Not sure if it’s over yet.
Is this the Texas case management team?

@bb what region is this in?
3 associate managers in my department got let go today. The ones they kept are now Team Leads.
@a9 rumor has it non clinical will work the HRA’s, which will save a lot of money.
I saw PH mentioned. Are there any specific areas teams or regions?
@ad some parts of Medicare and Medicaid case management falls within the Health Solutions division under Dr. Gaffigan.
@aj Yes 7 PH. Model of Care

@ac titles were associate managers - you mean manager of associates - isn't that the same as a manager?
Sorry to be d-mb but what is Health Solutions?
@ab no their titles were actually associate managers
@aa by “associate managers,” do you mean team leads?
I know some associate managers were let go as well in CM and UM
