I got to say Uniti and Windstream has been great to me. I love this company. The people, the employees. All of it. Customers love me when I show up and tell them they don’t need to switch to Fiber and can stay on copper. They give me a hug. I love you all.

They forced me to change to fiber. Said no charge, then 2 months later my bill went up. My broadband copper internet was better… but its not the customers choice.
@OP you love the company but waste the companies money by not switching them to fiber? Copper costs us more money to repair and maintain than fiber does. It also costs the company more due to trouble tickets and roll outs. Every customer in a fiber area needs to switch to fiber if they are on copper. You are doing a disservice to the company the customer and yourself. They are raising the rates on copper customers who do not change. So since you won’t switch them. They will pay more. Which will also increase our cancel rate. Please quit. If you’re joking that is a bad joke.

@OP Not sure of your location but where I work, they are forcing fiber on everyone, even granny. No option.
