I found out yesterday they are outsourcing the call center and they are NOT required to keep it in the US they only have to have a base call center in US. They are not only outsourcing the call center they are in other areas FINANCE , Claims etc . Look up the names in you IM and see what time they are in office 10:30 pm .. HELLO ppl !!!! This company is laying off to fill position with offshore ppl..

They for sure were granted an exception to outsource the 90% of the call center from sr leadership. . It’s is almost 12,000 people and that is just the call center for HIM and Medicare.
As an FYI: This was a standard legacy Health Net and WellCare practice so it’s been happening for Centene in Ops since at least 2016 (HN acquisition). Well before that for IT.

@2icz+1de6JBn4 Is right! I just looked up anyone external to see who is showing active at this time (7am EST) . I chose a foreign name, put it in my IM and they showed in active in green but here’s the kicker, they show in California. We know Cali is 3 hours ahead…but his whole group is showing active! It’s 4:33pm in India now…what are the chances..
- .. look at you intakes in the customer service , you will see the persons name external ( outsourced) . most of the names are foreign . Then take the name and put it in your IM . Now look at times etc.
This company has been working on such a short staff and pushing the employees to work 4x harder than the rest in the call center, appeals, members, etc. They talk regarding mental health yet they don't care nor help their employees after causing them mental anguish. I can honestly say, after years here, I am glad to be out. My stress levels are so much more calm.
@OP+1de6JBn4– which office did they outsource? There are lots of call centers within Centene….Is it a specific state that you know of?
Such a damn shame.... Profit over people is despicable. Oh well with more than half of the company still not vaxxed they will loose half their work force so seems to me they are planning a head
Stocks used to tie back to American workers. Leadership cared what workers thought because it affected the bottom line. Now there is no connection. We had an insurrection and a pandemic and stocks soared. There is no link between the bottom line and American workers. The line is connected to the top 1% and they now see that they don’t need to pander to the American worker anymore.
Then my guess is IT is not far behind. That is a popular department to outsource.
