it has been delayed till later in the quarter from the start. VPs are also demanding 100% in-building work starting 10/3

Just had rif yesterday after a flood of recruiting.
Like others have said the mandate is basically a RIF without the severance.
I know of one person who left the company after 20+ years to join a "Startup".
They didn't say it was because of the mandate but the fact of the timing and the fact they are joining a small company really makes me think that was the reason.
Layoffs? You got the vaccine mandate pushing that. Never happen.
