We will have a ceo turnover at some point in the next few years. Could be the IT person that is jockeying hard for the role. Interesting.

... Because in the old days pre Tippy, we were told evaluate each claim based on its own merit and pay what we owe. Nowadays it is all metrics, so just fudge the numbers to meet the metrics. Nobody gives a flying flip about customer service, just kick the can down the road to meet metrics.

People defending the farm about the lying a cheating, huh?
Wasn’t there a specific instance just a few months ago where you were told to sit on evidence and not accept liability unless your TM said you could?
TMs rarely gave the approval because the targets for liability were somewhere around 20%.

I have worked in claims for SF for over 20 years and no one is trained to lie and cheat. There are serious problems but when people like the prior post make those kind of absurd statements it diminishes the serious of real problems.

I work at State Farm and switched to somebody else because the claim handling is horrible. I would never want to have a claim handled by State Farm because when you adjust for them you are trained to lie and cheat the customer.
There are also several systematic methods they use to cheat your claim.

@4uoc When too many customers have their policies and/or claims messed up because of improper handling, it will have an impact.

What exactly is SF doing that is anti-consumer? Based on recent performance including this year there is zero chance SF is at risk of losing #1 market share. They actually gained ms last year and will likely do so again this year. Wishful thinking or just fantasy on your part.

I wouldn't recommend them as insurance and definitely not as a place to work. They are getting very close to a crisis and upper management is oblivious. State Farm had a very positive reputation but upper level leadership is making horrible decisions that are very anti-consumer and banking on that past reputation. It's about to take a major hit and that #1 market share is going to plummet. State Farm can't get out of its own way.

Hmmmm. Last poster-

The carpet must be ripped. Your way off & need to get with the real world and leave people the heck alone.

Everyone is entitled to their own perspective, life and work observations and experiences and to their own emotions and opinions.

Not sure what your purpose or self interest is in bashing others and degrading posters who can freely speak about working conditions and environment and management and layoffs or run offs. Must be a team bashing effort. Kudos to all.

Are you a career paths elite, in PR, marketing or mgt or simply offended or part of the issue or anyone that posts on this blog?

Your targeting, trolling & slapping the wrong folks in they mouth.

Or maybe you are the OP and setting this site up to intentionally trash commenters or target someone or many people. Quite odd.

Nice trolls !!! Did get thrills you expected like an undercover spy?

You make a mountain out of a molehill lol. Must be hard work! Relax.

Cheers!!

@3pmf....Ironic. You get called out for rants in which you denounce others as immoral, hypocritical, communist or socialist, devious, liars, power hungry, etc. It is not your current dislike for the way things are trending that gets you called to the carpet. Lots of folks are unhappy about that. It's the targeting, harrassing rants.

@Lkmd and buddies. Famous harassers of people that have wisdom and brains. Not kids.

You know harassment on any site is wrong. And your are targeting the wrong people. And seem to only target certain folks or posters. Are you getting paid or a bonus for that?? Weird Perhaps respond to other posts. Not your deranged harassment.

Personally, I think the biggest problem is that current leadership is obsessed with making our workforce like "every other insurance company", and don't understand why people would then jump ship for another company that is more favorable to their specific needs.

@1kmd and 1itf. - The famous groupie "profilers" and stalkers that think they work as special agents for State farm. And everyone is stupid except them. What kinda bonus does that pay?

Clearly you are outa touch with reality and your self righteous posts are not only not true and wrong and misplaced but you need to get to work.

Clearly you both need serious mental help.

Wrong assumption again pretty sad when you think your opinions and voice mean more than anyone else (kooshy jobs likely getting paid way more than you ought to)

Get a real job and better attitude and brain.

Troll lovers unite👋. Your loyalty and trashing others shines through. Nice job - stalkers - you get a big fat F for the day.

When a person refers to sour grapes remember it is because the sour grape worked their tail off and was not accepted by the elites. Remember you have to fit in to their narrative or you are an outcast. If you don't play golf, drink and drive and/or lie you are a sour grape. If you tell the truth and live up to a moral and ethical standard, you are a sour grape to them. If you increase your situational awareness you will see it. They want absolute power over how you think, look, eat, etc while they hide behind inclusion. Just be aware of their hypocrisy.

It depends on what area you work in as to whether it is a good place to work or not. I have worked in many areas of the company, some are good and some are not. It is NOT good in every area of the company. When you get treated badly and you work as hard as the next person it will make you hate it.

Would not recommend State Farm to potential customers or employees or your worst enemies. Anybody who says it’s awesome must be taking significant amount of medication.
