Thread regarding Centene Corp. layoffs

Centene a Poorly run Company

Centene has a CEO that is utterly unqualified to run an enterprise like this, not a clue with so many great leaders in healthcare with histories of success they chose as such, maybe for being a woman and an ok story teller, but the true is she cant execute well or comand any respect, they have decimated the place not for good. They migh be showing a bit of savings by all the firing and treating many of there best employees as nymbers but their operation is a disaster, they are selling assets as a bankrupted company and quality scores will not get any better any time soon becuase the mess they have created since mid last year in that area, and that define big time future profitability in Medicare, an area which is already strugling, leave alone claims and other areas, just very badly run company, Looks like there prior COO who " retire" took a new job in Walgreen, so it is clear now he was pushed out on some power struggle, because among other things he was trying to fix to some of the structural problems on a company that is very fragmented and costly to operate , which would had propel the efficiencies into the longer growth future, CNC is just now behemoth that does not good operators and the story tellers all they are doing is firing and selling it in pieces, a recipe for disaster, they are showing thin earnings and it will not improve because to the core the place is just broken and executing poorly , which will implode shortly.

Centene used to have leaders, hard working people, becoming an executive was earned, now is more who is the friend of Drew, or this ex Humana person that knows this other person that doesn't know sh-t but it is a crony of mine, legal and he are there to grind your bones, fire people and protect the people in charge, the worse in the industry

This company has never been ra--d so badly, they use to hire great people. Now they hire the friend of the COO, or the friend of the board members, it is old fashion stealing, people without bachelor's degree are given SVP titles making 1 million dollars, with zero knowledge of the Medicaid business, they are keeping and hiring at the top the the bottom of the barrel, it is only about retaining power and pocketing millions at the top, what a disgusting organization.

I'm sorry @4uqa+1s1Z121R, but who is supposed to be the id--t in your example? I get a lot of emails from people far more educated than I who sound ignorant because they DON'T know how to write properly not to mention the text speak I get in emails. When did that become ok in a professional setting? (Yes, I'm old and still believe there's a time and a place for things.)

So with all those things available to them that clearly they DON'T use, are THEY the id--ts because your post is directed at @4njk+1s1Z121R saying, "Only id--ts like you persist on not using the new tech and get flustered about it," when clearly they seem to write well so why would he/she need to use it? And I would think if they're flustered, it would be at the people who clearly should be using it but don't. There is an id--t on here alright.

And @4nzw+1s1Z121R, I don't know that any of the people posting about grammar and such are defending CNC leadership as they've not actually said anything on the topic. But yes, there are still people sadly defending how the company is being handled.

The evident truth is that the CNC leadership is utterly ineffective; it's beyond redemption. Despite attempts by certain individuals to defend it, like the grammar expert, we currently have in the forum.

lol. Based on what I read on this site it’s clear why some get promoted and some just stay disgruntled. Attitude is everything.

Expressing your hate and dislike online might be your way to vent, but I’d bet it shows up i your day to day work as well.

Maybe that’s why you aren’t successful?

@4njk+1s1Z121R there is no need to be a grammar expert to convey a message, there is grammaly, chatgpt, lots of Ai tool that you put down an idea and fix it for you with the correct punctuation. Only id--ts like you persist on not using the new tech and get flustered about it.

Oh please, that run on sentence was absolutely written by a 20 something. I have never seen so many emails and messages that were so badly mangled by the inexperienced co-workers just in my area alone. Don’t they teach reading anymore? Don’t even start on the horrible grammar used.

That's because boomers don't use periods they always use commas or add a ton of commas

I agree the Centene so called c suite su-ks, but the employees don't decide on it, it is the board in representation of major investors, those are who own most of the company, it doesn't make a lot of sense that Drew, London , Chen and some others are just talk and kind of pretending they work by saying " smart things" but mostly blaming on others the problems that they have failed to address and correct the poor decisions they have made. it is unfortunate but that's the reality

People, learn to use a period of god's sake. Maybe some other punctuation while you're at it but even just a period will suffice! I won't even get into the grammar.

sigh
You’re psychologically scarred and obsessing over something completely and utterly out of your control. It’s sad. They don’t know you and don’t care about you. That’s all true.

Belt’s be honest for a minute - you’re kind of acting like a baby. Seriously. Grow up and be an adult. Own your problems and fix them.

You’re worse than a child - at least a child does this sort of thing publicly. You’re an adult hiding behind a keyboard.

Sarah London is a living proof that, you don't need to be a a founder or a co founder of a company and make it successful ,or have a long career of sacrifices, knowledge and experience to make it to the big league, you can just use some fancy words an con artist style get paid millions, before CNC London was talking " liquid data" in optum, could you believe that sh-t, any person with a bit of an IT background can tell that s not a thing this is a person that is full of it, her story is just the antithesis of the American dream of work hard, start a company and so what is right. It is more like learn some cool words, convince some d-mb rich dudes of b , c and d and take their money. I can see why the morale is so low and the performance so mediocre lately here

Go an visit Edgar SEC , sticker CNC, to see the compensation of Drew and Sarah, so grotesque, this company is not even doing well for the investors , the employees anybody, and these all talk power point readers do nothing, get paid millions, the case of London is even more interesting, not even 10 years of healthcare experience and raking millions just to talk about the microcosm and the poorest and sickest, and old story of humedica about zip codes, what a shame
