Thread regarding Cigna layoffs

The Future is Now

I happened to notice that "Future of Work" has been rebranded to "In Person Presence" on Iris. I didn't notice any changes to the requirements, so this must be purely for imaging.

Another fail. It was, is, and always will be horsesh-t, no matter if it's called Free Beer.

Ditto everything you said. Also if you really want butts in seats in these buildings, make contractors go in too. It's only fair.

They should give those of us who were unlucky enough to be tapped to switch from full time w@h after more than a decade to hybrid (3 days in office) a break after a full year's suffering with a pointless commute to an office where we collaborate with absolutely no one, our leadership is w@h, and where empty cubes abound by letting us go back to w@h while they bring another team member in to have their turn at being an in person 3x's/week 'winner' - just to make things a little more fair and equitable. How they can justify holding some people on a team to standards that no one else is forced to comply with is beyond me. Same level, same role, same distance from the office. Fix this cluster!

I hope so, but that's not clear. I didn't notice any other changes to the policy or FAQ.

Does this mean they're giving up on the return to office push for the most part?

Maybe someone tried to fight back by saying

"You are talking about the future of work. I will comply in the future. We are in the present so the rules don't apply yet"
