Thread regarding US Foods layoffs

Cinci

Well, now we are the epicenter of attention. And I don't feel good about how they are handling what happened here with our su-k a-s safety and security bosses. My friend in corporate called me already and she knew about it so I am guessing you all do. Things like this happen but we are not confident the corporate teams can address this. HR and our managers are trying but everyone knows safety and security is not good and definitely not trusted. Pray for us!

Wait what? So it is not just us? We had a problem child in our market Warehouse and sanders sent security guys with g-ns that actually scared me. They were about as bright as a rock and looked like convicts. They were too flirty too. They stayed here about three days and they were gone. They spent more time talking together and left places they were suppose to be, wide open. They were soooooo useless. And like your post, the problem child would drive by after the security mens left so a couple of my friends went by our problem child’s place and “shook him up” and we haven’t seen him since. Sanders is clueless. I used to work at pfg and they did security things better there.

Y'all did well handling it yourself. When kernal finds out something, he sends 3 or 4 gunmen for a few days and then doesn't do sh-t after that. He told our manager when we had a problem that his deputies said they checked him out and they didn't see a problem. He came into our parking lot a few days later because his friends that still work here told him that the hired gunmen were gone. We handled his a-s and he ain't been back since. The kernal is a fu--ing dum--ss.

Today two people aimed their 9s at each other. I thought sh-t was about to go down in our warehouse but we all stopped it and didnt say sh-t. It was close y'all/ I am glad to be home and safe after that sh-t went down. Is there a better way to do this? We don't trust this BP man so I guess we on our own.2

We just did too. It didn’t amount to much because they didn’t beat each other down but one threw a tool at his head. We broke it up and didn’t call no damn body. They got into it over some pills that one had missing and was given to a girl here that hooks him up in the bathroom for aderol.

We have some sh-t going down in Philly. All sorts of sh-t but we haven't been saying anything but someone said an old man security dude was snooping around in our business and talking to some peeps here. Someone must have said something about something but not all cuz sh-t still flowing. They tightened up their process but missed a bunch of sh-t so they already adjusted and are still rolling. Could that have been the curnal that was here. I didn't see him and they said he didn't look like the KFC dude on TV but that he might have shaved. The name is different than the articles too. We had a little fight last week but we buried that sh-t and they shook hands and kept working.

It’s pointless to call them and report what you see. It’s sad to admit but true. It wasn’t always like that but it is now. I have entered my second decade of working with USF and there used to be trust that our senior managers would at least try to do the right thing. The recent promotions and hires in some important positions have changed all of that and the results show the decline. Workspace violence training is just one example. The new version is the same as the old, but repackaged diffferently. It comes at you from the old school hiding, fighting, and running and talks only of reacting to g-ns. My wife is a EVP of Human Resources at a fortune 50 company and she saw it over my shoulder and commented on how “old and inefficient” it was. She said human resource professionals learned years ago to “try a different model” than the one the police tend to use. She said they should have sought out other examples and they would have realized how “archaic” ours really is. I don’t work in the field with many of you but after seeing hers, I realized what we are missing and learned more than we are given. It showed me that you are all in greater danger not having the right tools and not having people you can trust to call for help. I am not a believer of having g-ns in the workspace but understand why many of you are choosing that option. It’s sad to say but I would too given what we have for training and security managers. I will keep all of you in my thoughts.

We had an ugly one last night and our boys handled it and cleaned one up. We didn’t rat on them to sanders. Fighting is stupid. I won’t say more than that to not give anything away.

We had a nasty argument and then a flight yesterday morning. We separated them and talked to them. One tried to apologize and the other is still being an a--hole saying things he can’t say. We are hoping he chills. He is from the wrong side of town and has done time so we really hope he chills. We didn’t report sh-t but wished we could cuz he is tripping a little bit and won’t calm the fu-k down after some
rest but we ain’t bout to tell our manage cuz he will tell HR who works with the curnal. It is what it is..

We had something go down last night. Big argument and then some punches thrown. We separated them and told them to chillax. We are worried one of them may go off on him again and he ain’t a nice guy and brought friends up here before when he thought someone disrespected him. We hope it is over but we will see.

And no we won’t tell kernal. He will fu-k it up and tell everyone. He can kiss my a-s!

We have dr-g use and dr-g selling going on too. Pills are a thing too. I worry bout one day they will cause a EMS or death. I won’t say sh-t either cuz that leaker in security will open his big fu--ing mouth and they will come after me. We had a buffer with HR but now they work together. Fu-k that! I ain’t bout to report any thing.

I ain’t about to trust that ole boy y’all call the kernal. I looked at that sh-t from his po po days and they would have never hired someone like me if I had all that mess going on. My mother fu--ing mouth is going to stay closed.

We had a fight two days ago in our break room and one of pickers hit another on the head with a plastic coke bottle and then it was on. They broke it up and they agreed finish the fight after work in the parking lot. One left early and so nothing more happened. We met them at the bar after work, drank, talked it out and they hugged and all is good. We would have told HR but they will report it to numb nuts and his team so fu-k that idea.

We talked about what we would do if there is a fight or threats or any thing like that here. We would call all three local news channels and the police if we heard of someone saying something scary or a fight but never ever will we tell our US Foods police puke. Never! That's an easy way for that dude to leak sh-t and then we get a target on our back. Fu-k no!

We had one go down at ours too and their answer was bring in more security gunmen. We all knew were they put them and so would the bad employee. The bad employee could get in other ways too so their answer to their fears was a fu--ing waste of money. It's all right tho. We are all ready on the inside and when we come and go. We also told our employee to let us handle it ourselves next time instead of telling HR and scooped him a bout this layoffs site.

Y'all did the right thing. We had something go down too about 2 months ago and we delt with it. Take matters into your own hands since they haven't given us someone relieble who knows what the fu-k he's doing. Goind around talking like you know sh-t and having meetings don't change the fact that he is clue less. Second amendment and self help until they give us a better top cop. Y'all can put lip stick on a pig but it's still a fu--ing pig.

We had two fight over a girl last week. We cleaned them up in different bathrooms and told them we would tell HR if they didn't make up and they shook on it. They are still talking sh-t about each other but no more fights. We handled it without that di-k head getting involved and fu--ing sh-t up.

Us too but 3 weeks ago. We did the same thing and worked it out amongst our selves and didn't tell any bodyelse. We told them they werent allowed to bring their g-ns for 30 days so they could cool the fu-k down. Some women that were there were mad because they are not into the second amendment but we need it to save us since we don't have any real security that knows how to do sh-t.

We had 2 of our employees get into a fist fight in the parking lot over a married employee both are messing around with and they didn't know of each other having been with her even though the entire warehouse does. It happened Friday and they shook hands at the end of the shift. Why did they think she was sneaking each one into the cab of a USF truck during lunch. We ended up separating them even though one of them had a kn--e. They shook hands at the end of the shift but one of them called her husband and told him about the other before they did. We are hoping the husband doesn't show up and kick one of their as--s. Or that he doesn't do something worse. We'll have to break it up if he does cuz there's no fu--ing way I am calling the Coronel. We were going to tell Human Resorses but w told us about this layoffs.com sh-t and when we went on we were like, no fu--ing way we are calling that twisted fu-k. So we are all bringing heat this week to watch ourselves back,

Our boss said they are on a call and David is talking about how they have plan to fix this. Get this…HR is going to champion it at the sites. What kind of d-mb fu-k idea is that? You already do that and it is fu---d up. That is why the fox should not be watching the hen house. That being said, I trust HR more than these security fu-k ups.

How often are these things happening? We had one at our building that we tried to keep quiet and deal with our selves but it was too hard to do and local HR got involved. The kernal sanders and the VP of HR got called. Our HR manager said they had to call them because of a new “call tree” and that it was the protocol to do that. She said the VP of HR used to have better ideas and decisions before she was forced to work with the kernal. I won’t name the building we work at because I promised I wouldn’t speak of our conversation to anyone. She likes her VP but didn’t like kernal and his suggestions. She said it doesn’t do much and leaves her scared. So it is not only us. I hope that we don’t have another Montgomery that ends up even worse.

I was going to report it and they told me about this site and why I shouldn't After reading bout the man at the top of security and how they didnt help the folks in Montgomery and the loose lips problem I am doing like they told me and shutting my mouth and letting us on the floor manage this. I cannot believe y'all are making us do this. I mean WTF.

We just told them to put their things back in their glovebox and chill the fu-k out. We don’t need that ba----d in our DC.
