More HR employees - GONE

Wow. Well I just found out TWO people in HR, extremely vital employees in Benefits and HRSC RESIGNED in December. Resigned because NOTHING CHANGED and they just couldn’t stay to watch this place crumble any longer. Did the HR leaders send out an email to Human Resources to inform them? NOPE. Do they have a game plan? Doubtful because no one cares anymore. I am shocked. I found out THIS WEEK and they have both been gone for weeks already. How awful that no one got to say goodbye to these valuable team members. I am so sorry for them. I am so sorry for everyone in HR that is still dealing with the turmoil of 2025. There has to be change immediately before we lose the last few still standing.

AHHHH HAHAHA!
Leaving to pursue other things. Surrrrreeeeeeee.
Code for you are fired!
It’s long overdue. A real win for HR and the entire organization, something that should have happened a long time ago. Frankly, those two individuals should never have been hired in the first place. A great deal has been damaged in the process, and it won’t ever be quite the same; the heart and soul of HR left with it when those two started forcing people out or firing them without notice.

@3dy people are stuck. The job market is so bad that they can’t leave until they have a backup secured. There are a TON of people who want to leave across multiple departments, but they can’t. Unfortunately, the company knows how bad the market is & use it to their advantage. I’ve been searching for over a year and can’t find anything.

I honestly don’t understand why people continue to stay in that department given all the shady practices over the past few months. If Emily Vander Weile or Emily Roger’s and Tomya are willing to treat long-tenured HR employees this way, then no one else is truly safe.

How do they justify living with decisions where certain people were handed new rules or promotions simply because Emily favored them, while others, key contributors and valuable employees, were overlooked or even terminated without notice? The department operates unethically, and I can’t understand why anyone would still choose to be part of it. It feels less like loyalty and more like desperation, and it’s genuinely sad to see people reduced to that level.

All these resignations sends a clear picture of the true state of affairs. The people Emily Vanderbilt Weile did not favor are no longer there and it’s not because they did anything wrong; it’s just because they did not click with her or align with her practices. But why would they she has not experience in Hr. If you look at her profile you will see no HR experience as a headliner. She got the job because the former head of HR handed it to her.
None of this is surprising when you have an operations person running HR. You have to be a true HR person to appreciate HR - otherwise you fail….your department fails.

@qk Not surprised to hear this was your experience. Many of us have speculated that people were exited from the company and this new hire was brought in for the specific purposes of covering up Emily Vander Wiele's inadequacies and not question her poor "leadership".

What a sad disservice to team members that they are left to work with such awful representatives of HR.

I am just so confused someone like EVW is still here. It completely baffles me. She is absolutely ridiculous. Also I met her new Sr. Director she hired. That lady doesn’t know left from right!!! Where in the world did she appear from, outer space? Zero HR knowledge, I had to hang up and ask someone else in HR the easiest answer because she was clueless.

@pv
Just wow! That is less strategic and more transactional. It’s defines metrics-driven workload that can feel impersonal and lead to burnout.
Taking away the human factor from Human Resources is failure.

This screams EVW because she is a data analytics person and operations person and not a Human Resources person.

They're not exactly playing with a full deck of cards over there in HR.

Seriously, which genius thought it was a good idea to advertise in HR job descriptions to candidates, and current employees for that matter, that AMN is "shifting from relationship-based alignment to a case-based, queue-driven system"? I'm going to guess it's the one we all know only cares about completing processes and doesn't know jack about HR.

Forget the lost trust, that's long gone. Instead, they're perfectly happy to say relationship building no longer matters at AMN, leaders and team members are just another number in their queue.

Tomya W and EVW are the downfall of that HR department. Since they started everything went haywire. Even Stevie wonder can see this. When you have leaders that people have no confidence in and do not trust, you might as well not have leaders.

One of the snakes resigned too. KA
What a complete ssssshhhh show! Nothing will change because AMN does not value HR. HR is NOT a revenue generating business unit. They measure the value of people and units based on what dollar amount they can contribute to the company. They are of that backward thinking that HR doesn’t bring value like the sales org. If they only knew….
