I have to say I am glad I left Capital One. Folks, I know they make you believe it is the best company out there. Don’t fall for it. It has a really bad culture where only those who play the game/politics win. Also if you want to practice your tech chops, the regulations make it very hard to do so.

Fire all C1 employees and replace them with Discover employees. From what I read in this forum C1 is not good anyway.
Everyone in my immediate area that is on a CP is 60+. C1 has already lost a lawsuit for this behavior. Those who've been told to expect a CP at year end are 50+. This should be unacceptable but folks seem scared of the C1 machine and not willing to do anything abt it. I'm researching my options and hope to expose this simehow/someway. If it takes days/months/years I will do my best to expose this company treatment of its employees young and old. They are NIT that powerful to me. KARMA WILL HAPOEN and uf I can push that along I'll feel like I accomplished something.
Toxic as he!!.. Managers that act like coworkers because their a$$es are on the line. They allow bullying and backstabbing along with loud cruel gossip to invade their team in attempt to hang on to their jobs. So inmature. If they would say something and set a precedent for behavior within their teams it might even start a trend. This is not NORMAL behavior for adults of any kind. DISGUSTING @ best. C1 should be shut down.
Discover is best. C1 will lick discovers ar-e….
@5szp+1uKXnP9F, and being a bi--h and a di-k putting people on PIPS for no reason.
Regarding @4awh+1uKXnP9F, the only talent that is recognized at this company is a$$ kissing.
Response To the previous comment, i know someone who created 5 enterprise solutions and implemented them successfully, saving Capital One millions and still got Piped due to politics
None of you could have made it is the problem…lack of talent.
Go remote or hybrid. Preferably remote.
Embrace Discover culture
I hated it there at that bullying company. They try to make you think you're so fortunate to work there. One executive told me when I first joined that I got myself into a great company. Everyone there was drinking the koolaid. It was a horrible experience and felt like JHS all over again. So glad I'm not longer there to look at some of those faces there.
So true-I was part of the not popular PIPed out. Best thing that happened to me. I am now a proud owner of a small business that is growing everyday. And no BS to tolerate. .
Do a$$ lickers survive? If yes, then I'm not gonna wanna be part of C1 shlt
