Thread regarding Denbury Resources Inc. layoffs

Integration with Exxon

Can someone explain the integration process? Who will be on that team other than AB for Den and XOM reps? Does it matter if your boss is or isn’t on the team? Will it be just CCS ? Wishing everyone the best ! Denbury has been a great place to work.

It's not integration at XOM....it's transition!

AB is an amazing leader. He should be running Denbury imo

XOM destroyed XTO, that's all I really know for sure.

Why do think there is going to be a severance? XTO didn’t get one. 2020 XOM layoffs the severance was only three months.

@3zsl+1o30ve7p to those who might be changing their cv to lies. You are already practicing XOM tactics! You would fit in perfectly!

Seems like an over reaction to people just being worried about their future and talking about it or just feeling left out and nervous and hoping to be involved. I don’t think anyone is really trying to do anything other than their job until they know more. Many of us just want a fair severance option at the end of this.

I call BS. You keep hearing about specific ways Denbury employees are editing their resumes? From who, one loud mouth repeating the same thing over and over?

We keep hearing that Denbury employees are “editing” their resumes to pretend they are working “managing” “leading” on more projects than they really are and taking credit for work others are doing - who are they fooling? Let’s call them out!

Mangers / integration “experts” - you should clean this up! I really hope everyone is called out if they lie about their responsibilities to Exxon. Tell us who can be trusted and who can’t!!!!

XOM is as toxic as a napalm asscrack sandwich. I've never seen something to this degree at the other places I've worked. I feel for you all truthfully. Start applying at other companies asap. You all deserve better

The EOR is not what they are after.

But they have the CAPABILITY! Their presentation made THAT very clear!

Why would XOM need a CCUS group when they already have one that was closing deals without a pipeline when ours couldn’t with a pipeline? They don’t have EOR operations, I’m betting that’s where the security is. Only question is when will we have to move.

There are very few on the team, I think like 10 people. If you are in any non operations role like IT, HR, Supply Chain, etc 99.9% sure you likely won’t have a job by January or February.

Operations will likely be here a little longer and then picked off slowly. I think only CCUS people will be offered moves to XOM.

My opinion after observing and listening the last month.
