4/19 - this will be popcorn day. Make sure to have all your work done on 4/18 so the transition is positive and you have time to mourn like the others.

Which region is that?
Right before rental returns and graduation, do they actually understand their business cycle?
A lot of ML and FT positions eliminated. At least 7 people fired in my region. With graduation and inventory coming up, who do they plan to have working? Not that they gave us labor for these things. Now we don’t have people to even physically be there. Labor or not.
I heard it's affecting stand alone stores and market leads. Hopefully my ML gets the axe
QAnon has left the building
Maybe we're merging with BN since their stock is at 22cents.
Anyone gotten an email invite?
I think I just got fired
Short notice state of business call...never a good thing.
Hope those fu-kfaces in the Ivory Tower like presiding over fu-k all because that's what they're gonna be left with.
EK and SB leaving....sounds good, let's just hope it is true!!!
EK leaving, SB leaving, JH going back to ops as Prez, wish RM had stuck it out for the long game. Back to old time Follett. Yippee!
Market Leader and above just got the dreaded last minute “business update” call scheduled for this morning. Here we go.
Is there even anyone left to cut?
Some market leaders and Regionals. Consolidation to the max. Getting ready to hear it's a known issue 100% of the time.
Some Martha Legals, some demotes. Using code because they keep deleting
What's a Martha legal?
Let's face it, Follett is a terrible place to work and the lickspittles in management will blame you for their failures and throw you under the bus.
Getting let go is the first step toward recovery.
Back in the day Follett would celebrate your years of dedicated service. Now, JRC just sees you as a loser and a cost to be eliminated.
Cutting all martha legals or only some?
Martha Legal
What positions are on the chopping block this round ??
JRC is trying to get the most amount of work out of you whilst paying you as little as possible.
I don't believe anyone suggested that they were looking to send anyone to the glue factory.
But do consider working for Follett a job not a career.
Like working for McDonald's or Subway.
By that logic, I'm just going to goof off until the 19th. No need to work too hard if I'm just being sent to the glue factory.
And then they’ll have their hooray meeting the next week. Seems to be a pattern.
JRC pulling the last bit of value from the store. Termination of contract required. Bankruptcy allieves liability from JRC.
Too bad.
So sad.
Love Dad.
Follett Family walked away laughing.
Probably JRC investors.
With graduation approaching and spring term ending, now would be the perfect time for whoever is left in the stores to walk out. When the schools have to take over it will be the end of The Ivory Tower. Some schools are already ordering their own course materials because follett has sc--wed up so bad.
I think we need visitation from the Ivory Tower to show us how to get more productivity out of ourselves. I would say that we have sapped that of our staff who subsequently got laid off, but maybe we have been slacking ourselves. I know I have been able how to eat a meal, take a sh-t, and run the store alone. Sleep eludes me but I am working on a Red Bull paradigm now.
Well, to better serve the needs of their customers a leaner, more proactive Follett is needed!
And less payroll leaves more to distribute to the JRC wealthy investors.
GO TEAM!
Remember, just work harder.
