@3ws Sc--w them now. I habe no reason to answer their calls.
@5qv My internet is still on ams going strong..🤣. Its been months but hey, that's the least they can do!
@OP I was laid off a year ago. I’m still waiting on boxes and shipping labels for the laptop and accessories. This is after I reached out multiple times. You should be fine.
@3c5 They kept the internet on? I sure wouldn't tell them. Let them pay till the end of time. They can afford it.
Considering that Big Brother required me to take 50-60 hours of AI training less than 6 months before laying me off, I wasn't surprised that they botched the equipment return process too.
My team "lead" apparently decided it was my job to reach out to coordinate return of laptop (etc). But since the company thoughtfully ended my badge access before my last day, I got to wait around the doorway like a stranded tourist. Just one more insult.
Unless someone contacts you for the docking station, consider it a gift.
@OP how did you even get them to send you a box with a label? I’ve had my laptop for two months after I got laid off but anybody to contact me I wanna get rid of this piece of cr-p.
They laid us off because they needed to keep healthcare costs affordable for the members we serve -- yet issued me 2 company cell phones, told me to keep my monitors (including hard dock), and kept paying for company internet for months after the fact. You'll be fine.
They don’t care about a docking station trust me I kept mine when I was laid off they never asked for it back.
Nah, you’ll be fine. I was a BSL and never returned docking stations and kept them for my team to use. They only care about the laptop and printers.
All they want is the laptop they could care less about anything else. They forgot about you already
Years ago, I was having computer issues with no resolution. I begged IT to send a cable rep to check the modem, and they finally did. He determined it was defective and he replaced it. He was supposed to take the old modem, but forgot it. I held onto it for two years, no one said anything to me about it. I finally threw it in the recycling bin.
Tell then if the want it back that bad, you’ll leave it on the doorstep for them to come and pick it up.
I doubt they will even notice, most returned hardware goes in the trash or sold to recycle rs. Put in on the shelf, wait till the end of the year, toss it if they havent asked for it back
