Is a company an American company if 70-80% of the workers are not in America?

Even in a pandemic, where the ethical choice is to help buffer the human impact, the choice is to seize market share and distribute more wealth to shareholders by eliminating jobs and use cash to buy back stocks instead of hiring.

This article turns my stomach. Corporate America is kicking American workers while they are down and getting paid to do so.

I left a leadership role there over a year ago and this is definitely the strategy. I could hire all I wanted from Legato regardless of cost despite entire teams being less productive than a single onshore employee. I ask for an employee the answer was always no or a REQ that could never be filled because of how long the secondary approval gate took. If I asked for a Legato team, it was pretty much no questions asked, have all you want.
